Other mistake: There is a scene in which Piter DeVries is talking about the Landsraad (one of the governmental organizations in Dune). Twice he mispronounces the name, saying "Lansdraad" instead.
Other mistake: Tony Danza's character introduces himself as "Tony." When the credits are rolling at the end of the movie, we see that his character's name is Terry, not Tony.
Other mistake: Early in the movie, Sir Gawain gets on his horse, in a full suit of armor, by himself. Later, he is hoisted onto his horse by what looks like an early design for a crane. Armor is heavy and Sir Gawain would have to be hoisted every time he wanted to ride with armor on.
Other mistake: After the early truck chase, Axel arrives at the police station. He walks through a glass door that reads 'Investigaton Operations Division' which is missing the last 'i' in the first word, exactly as I've typed it here. (00:08:10)
Other mistake: When Ralph's Renault R4 goes head on into the shallow and rocky river it emerges without a dent. (01:18:45)
Other mistake: When the three enter the palace there are many guards protecting it. When the miner kids exit the palace, all the guards are gone, which allows for a happy scene, but still it's quite odd that the Imperial Palace suddenly has no protection at all.
Other mistake: When Conan is fighting the Ape-man and his friends are watching behind the mirror, the cold air on their breath is actually cigarette smoke. You can see it swirling every time they speak. In one shot you can actually see Malak's hand move behind the other actor and he's holding the cigarette. I think this is why there are audio problems here, they had to dub the voices in because the actors couldn't speak with the smoke in their mouths. DVD viewing.
Other mistake: The scene in the bookstore is shot in reverse, which although humorous, isn't a mistake. The mistake is the fact that what the characters say and what the subtitles say don't match up. When speaking the character's dialogue comes out all garbled, and when a name is brought up in the subtitles there is no reference to that person's name in the conversation. (00:47:10 - 00:48:15)
Other mistake: As the Terminator is approaching Sarah in the Tech Noir nightclub, several other patrons can be seen behind her sitting in booths. These same people are in front of Kyle (he pushes them out of the way to get to Sarah before the Terminator does), yet he's on the other side of the club by the bar. (00:35:10)
Other mistake: After the guys decide to rent the building, the shot of New York from the park is the very same one, though with different sky colour, to that of the moment when they are about to battle Gozer. Though it's a very wide and common shot of the park, the very same people are laying on the grass in the very same position in both shots (big screen recommended to spot it). (00:16:45 - 01:18:35)
Other mistake: The very last scene of the movie shows Supergirl flying underwater holding the Omegadron. Oddly enough, though her body is realistic, her arms are now very thin and measure two meters long.
Other mistake: When Savic is sleeping, a burst of energy from planet pushes the tree she is leaning on upward. There is a Klingon above that almost gets hit with it. Savic should have seen him and started moving with Spock. This might have been a scene meant to be used later at the climax. (00:57:00)
Other mistake: Jackie and Yuen assault the first bikers very fast and suddenly: despite that and the presence of crazy bikers roaming the place, a huge crowd had already time to assemble in mere seconds making an orderly circle around them, no empty spots, to witness the fight and the breath-taking stunt filmed in the wide shot. (00:16:40)
Other mistake: When they're walking on the Tri System, you can see the wrinkles in the fabric used to create the foggy background.
Other mistake: This is just baffling; in the scene where Christie is wearing a rather sweat-stained pink top and Billy turns the music off asking her "Where have you been?" they are the only ones in the room, but someone out of frame throws what appears to be a puppet on Christie bed (!?). (00:45:45)
Other mistake: When Centauri "dies", he had a smile when stopped moving. After Grig closes Centauri's eyes, not only is the smile gone, but you see his now-closed right eye flinch after Grig's hand is gone.
Suggested correction: As the entry itself notes by putting "dies" in quotation marks, Centauri is not really dead. His body simply shut down to repair itself, which means it is still operating on some level, which allows for the possibility of small movements as described.
