Revealing mistake: In the scene at the end of the very first battle, where Imperial troops have just taken control of Princess Leia's rebel ship, Darth Vader breaks the neck of the Captain Antilles and tosses his body to the wall. The "dead" Captain puts up both of his hands to avoid slamming his face into the wall. (00:05:40)
Revealing mistake: The shot of the two nuclear missiles being launched is used twice, just reversed. They seem to have changed the saturation slightly in one of them to make it look different, but there are identical clouds at the top left/top right in both shots, ruining the trick.
Revealing mistake: In a scene where Frog is riding with the Bandit, she's resting her head on the center gearshift console. Although they're supposed to be cruising down the road, the automatic transmission shifter is in neutral.
Revealing mistake: While the German officer, played by Hardy Krüger, is in a pill box reporting back to his headquarters, with the bridge seen in the background, rush-hour traffic can been seen on the bridge.
Revealing mistake: At one point in the movie, dumptrucks are sent in to contain the Mighty Peking Man. You can tell that these, like most of the movie are toys.
Revealing mistake: While the plane is almost upside down, papers and stuff fall inside, but one can notice that it's the actors throwing the papers, not gravity making them fall.
Revealing mistake: In the beginning when Shockley pulls up and the Jack Daniels falls out you see it hit a wet mark from the previous take.
Revealing mistake: During the demonstration of the Iron Claw technique in the opening credits, the master grips two bamboos; as he does it, you can see they are already cut before he applies the technique that supposedly splits them. (00:03:55)
