Revealing mistake: As Machine Gun Joe runs slowly runs over a fisherman in a small brook, he stops and "peels out" on his head. You can see a film crewman in the driver's seat doing the actual carnage.

Continuity mistake: At the Zurich sanction when Jonathan kicks the killer out of the window, just before he kicks him, look at the window. This window has two panes of glass that open outward, with the latch in the middle, but a view from the outside shows that it's a single window with one pane of glass in it, not big enough for two panes. Revealing mistake: You can see the threads moving the submarine underwater. (00:04:55)

Continuity mistake: Near the end, Sam Clayton is nearing the finish. The audio leads you to believe that the horse is breathing VERY hard, but when the camera shows the horse, the nostrils are NOT flared as they would be on a horse that has been run to exhaustion (or even down the block). Also, the people filming this scene obviously have no clue about the nature of sweating in horses. They showed "lather" all through the horse's mane. The ONLY places horses will lather while sweating is where something is rubbing, i.e. underneath the saddle, the bridle or breast collar, where the reins rub on the neck or between their back legs.

Revealing mistake: Anytime there is a fight, the hits hardly come close to making contact, but the sound effect is still there.

Factual error: During the car chase scene with the Mustang, the driver of the Mustang repeatedly shifts his automatic transmission from "drive" to L1. Also, one shot during the chase shows that driver's feet using a clutch to shift his automatic.

Continuity mistake: When Doyle arrives at the dock at the beginning of the movie, we see Doyle from behind. A boy with a yellow shirt and a girl with a flower dress pass him on his right side. However, there is a change of shot, and now we see him from the front, and behind him we see the boy and the girl, but instead of being at his right side, they're at his left.

Continuity mistake: Jonathan explains how to deal with a biker, demonstrating on Blue who's sat on his bike close to the rail. Yet when he's talking to the new guy (Toughie)Blues bike is in the middle of the track and when Toughie comes around the track to attack Jonathan it is back in its original position.

Continuity mistake: When Roger throws one of the motor bikes off the RV during the chase sequence towards the end of the film, we see a driver's view from the white truck and you can see a piece of debris going into the grass when the bike crashes onto the road. In the next shot, the same piece of debris is now next to the bike when the white truck drives into it.

Continuity mistake: Friday is at the fashion show, and after arguing with her friend who called her on NYE, she is talking with the photographer. She is about to playfully slap him; between these two shots a quite noticeable lady in furs and purple polka dot dress is walking from left to right in the first one, right to left in second. (00:20:55)

Continuity mistake: In the opening interview with the trucker, the wide shots with him leaning against the grill show just a few thin hair out of position. In the close-ups he sports much messier hair with large curl out of place in the middle of the forehead. (00:00:50)

Factual error: In the bar in Cartagena amongst the goods advertised there's a sale of slaves of color ("Negroes"). However the movie is set in the early XIX century and the sale the poster refers to (listing very specific figures) took place in South Carolina in 1769.

Factual error: Carnehan describes himself as a "gunnery sergeant". This is an American rank and no such rank has ever existed in the British Army.

Other mistake: Peter Chang is billed in the opening credits as the one and only Fighting Instructors, plural.

Character mistake: In the fight in the Shaolin temple the Bruce Lee impersonator fights 4 monks who are supposed to attack him simultaneously, and they do, but Miss amazingly obvious openings, to the point of spending long seconds hopping around without attacking. Many martial arts movies feature as Common Mistake the main character facing multiple enemies that fight quite inefficiently, but few are this obvious when it comes to waiting a cue. (00:13:00)

Continuity mistake: The line of traffic on the landing side of Tower Bridge is completely different to when the jaguar lands and the capri lands.
