Trivia: If you look closely, there are many "Mickeys" in the scenery. For example, look in the bushes in various scenes and you will see three circles that form Mickey's head.

Trivia: Although Martha Scott plays Charlton Heston's mother in this film, she was only ten years his senior.

Trivia: In the scene when Cary Grant is going up the steps to the UN, Alfred Hitchcock shot it from a rug truck across the street. He wasn't allowed to shoot the front of the UN. If you look closely, you can see a security guard in the left corner.

Trivia: At the beginning Criswell reads, "Can your heart stand the shocking facts about 'Grave Robbers from Outer Space'?" This was the original title of the movie that was changed because of objections by the financial backers.

Trivia: Operation Petticoat was filmed at the US Naval Base in Key West Fla. They actually did paint a submarine pink. I was attending the Fleet Sonar School on the base at the time and watched with great interest. The submarine used was the U.S.S. Balao (SS-285), which was still in commission at the time.

Trivia: Not a mistake, just a fact. According to I.A.L. Diamond,Tony Curtis' "Josephine" voice was dubbed by another actor, as Curtis couldn't speak high enough.
