Corrected entry: When Moses notices the burning bush, he tells Joshua that it is a bush on fire, but not burning. He then walks very high up a mountain, and then into a cave, which allows no view of outside. How did he see the bush in the first place?
Corrected entry: While Adams is wearing the plastic educator machine's sensors on his forehead, he reaches for the creation lever. Morbius stops him and the sensors are suddenly retracted from his head.
Correction: Morbius moves the unit away as he stops the commander from using the intelligence booster. For this reason, in the next shot it appears retracted.
Corrected entry: Near the end of the film, the crew of the Sheffield are ordered to stand at attention, salute and "face to starboard!" They are all facing to port, including the captain, who gave the order.
Correction: The crew do face to starboard. They face left on the screen, but that's because the camera is filming from the bow.
Corrected entry: Toward the end of the Indians' attack on the moving train that carries Phineas Fogg and his party east from San Francisco, one shot that lasts several seconds is taken from beside the train, and the camera's line of sight is almost parallel to the tracks. During this time, the landscape in the background stays still. The train is not moving.
Correction: I reviewed this scene closely. You can see either the background or the train locomotive moving in each scene.
Corrected entry: Why is the army using a water cooled machine gun against Godzilla? It is obvious right from the beginning that a gun has little effect on him.
Correction: They use the water cooled machine guns to try to slow down Godzilla and push him back to the water.
Corrected entry: Clearly seen that the percussion player never actually touches the kettle drums, he is just whacking through the air. (01:34:50)
Correction: He does hit the drums, it's just on what looks like part of the up stroke. The drumstick hovers a small distance above the drum, and he then makes a short, sharp downward movement followed by a large upswing. Difficult to spot, and I thought the same at first, but it's there.
Corrected entry: When Bader crashes his Bulldog biplane, and gets extracted from the wreckage, not a drop of blood is seen. In the actual crash, Bader suffered multiple fractures and arterial bleeding.
Correction: Trivia, at best. The film was made in 1956 - showing blood in those days was extremely rare. This is a stylistic choice due to the strict censorship laws of the time, not a film mistake.
Corrected entry: Bradford, who has never met Ann before, accepts her invitation to dinner at her home, but leaves without asking where her house is. He nevertheless arrives there without difficulty in the next scene. (00:15:00)
Correction: There's no reason to assume he doesn't ask or find out where she lives off screen. Just because we don't see it doesn't mean it doesn't happen, especially since the next scene doesn't happen immediately after he accepts the invitation.
Corrected entry: There are two kinds of oilfield equipment used in the movie: derricks that drill a well, and pump units that pump the oil out of the well. The movie reverses the uses of the equipment. Jet Rick is shown drilling his well with a pump unit. In a later scene, drilling derricks, visible through the restaurant window, are shown over the established oil wells on the Benedict ranch.
Correction: They do have all in one units: A derrick with a pump at the base. You can search Google for the pictures.
Correction: What? Your submission says that Moses notices the bush BEFORE he goes into the cave. What mistake is there?
