Revealing mistake: When Will Scarlet finds the injured Much in Sherwood Forest about three quarters of the way through the movie, a white vehicle can be seen travelling from right to left in the background. (01:27:40)
Plot hole: When Iris Henderson and her two friends arrive at the hotel, Iris orders dinner and asks that it be sent up to "our" room. The waiter arrives when the three are changing. But later, when it's time for bed, Iris says good night to her friends, who leave her alone in the room (as she must be for the sake of subsequent developments).
Continuity mistake: In one of the early scenes where Baby, the pet leopard is introduced, you can tell that the scene was shot twice and overlapped. Baby's leash has an obvious gap in it, and the two halves move independently.
Continuity mistake: In a sequence on London Transport's Chiswick skidpan a three axle LT class AEC Renown bus turns into a two axle STL AEC Regent while on the move, then back into an LT when parked.
Continuity mistake: When Jimmy Stewart is talking to his girlfriend, he gives her a flower, and at different points in the conversation, she has it over her shoulder, or on her lap, depending on the angle of the shot.
Continuity mistake: A couple of minutes before the end, when Louise and Frank embrace, from behind him her head is on his left shoulder; when the shot is reversed, her head is on his right shoulder.
Continuity mistake: During the lunch scene, there is a bowl in front of Goofy on the table that changes colour from blue to red between shots.
Continuity mistake: When Porky is lighting the candles on the cake at the beginning of the cartoon, the position of the candles change between shots.
Continuity mistake: Mr. Kilbourne sits at the breakfast table and asks for his newspaper; during the scene the tea strainer to his right is facing upwards in the wider shots, and pointed with the opening down on the table in the close-ups. (00:04:30)
Continuity mistake: When the waiter tells Groucho that he wants a part on the play, his right arm is extended and the left one is bent next to his chest. Shot changes and both arms are lowered.
Continuity mistake: Near the beginning, Cratchit drops his hat while getting hit by snowballs. In the other angle, his hat is back on instantly.
Audio problem: Shirley Temple is singing a medley of songs when she hits a block of wood with a stick. The sound effects are obviously not synchronized with Shirley's motions. (00:55:55)
Continuity mistake: While he's talking to Benson in the hospital corridor, Law's handkerchief keeps changing positions in his coat pocket from one take to the next (tucked almost all the way in, then sticking up several inches, etc.).
Continuity mistake: When the St Bernard dog is preparing the drink for the frozen bird, he puts a cocktail stick with a piece of orange and a cherry into the glass, but when we see the dog holding the glass in the next shot, the cocktail stick has disappeared.
Continuity mistake: At the beginning of the short, Mickey Mouse installs the ship's mast. But when we see the boat when it is completed, there is no mast.
Revealing mistake: During the flashback sequence showing Rocky's past crimes, two explosive devices are thrown at a shop window. Both bounce harmlessly off and land on the sidewalk, but the shop obligingly explodes anyway.
Continuity mistake: When Von Hamburger shows the producer the completed reel, it has a green spool and he puts it by the side of the producer's desk. Daffy then replaces it with his own film and you can see that the spool is light blue. The spool then becomes green again in the next shot.
Continuity mistake: A sow is nursing four little pigs. When the farmer brings food, she rises and walks away, leaving behind five little pigs.
Continuity mistake: The car at the beginning of the movie stops, and one of the officers exits it to open the door to Mrs. Reardon. The movements of the policeman are in continuity between shots, but the extras on the sidewalk completely change. (00:01:00)
Suggested correction: No car, just light on the hilt of Scarlett's sword.
I verified the scene. It's definitely not from the light of Scarlett's sword. It occurs after Will gets off his horse and the horse is turning. To the right of the horse is a tree in the background. To the right of that is a small clearing, about level with the horse's mouth. For a fraction of a second you can see a white object go across the small clearing in the same manner as a white car driving by.
