Continuity mistake: Poirot met Ariadne Oliver who invites him to the "murder hunt." Poirot and Hastings then get on a boat to head there. As they sit on the boat, there are a few extras, led by an easily identifiable lady in a yellow sweater, that move up the stairs of the pier and reach the top. The boat slowly takes off, and about 10 seconds later we see the pier again, with again those same people from before just reaching the top of the stairs. (00:02:25)

Continuity mistake: Poirot is talking to the owner of Twinkle Toes and confirms that indeed the victim was strangled with his merchandise. The man listens with his fingertips adjoined and pointed towards Poirot, but when it cuts to his response ("Poor kid") his left hand is partially in frame and in a different position altogether. Continuity mistake: When Sidney answers the phone at the sorority, look at her sheer top under the jacket; reaches almost the neck (you can backtrack the moment when it rose from its optimal fit; she put the jacket in the same take and that ended up pulling the underneath garment a bit).
