Tolerance Is Extinction - Pt 2 - S1-E9
Trivia: When Rogue is joining Magneto, she hyperbolically mentions Morph being a member of the X-Men for 30 minutes before being killed. This is a reference to Morph being killed (though, later brought back) just a few minutes into the second episode of the original series, which would have been around 30 minutes of total runtime.
Tolerance Is Extinction - Pt 2 - S1-E9
Trivia: This episode sees the X-Men splitting into two strike forces, the Blue and Gold Teams, with the Blue Team traveling to Asteroid M to confront Magneto, and the Gold Team traveling to the Galapagos Islands to stop Bastion. This is loosely adapted from X-Men Vol. 2 #1, in which the Blue and Gold Teams were first established at Cyclops' proposal, with the Blue Team similarly traveling to Asteroid M to deal with Magneto.
Tolerance Is Extinction - Pt 2 - S1-E9
Trivia: When Cable scoffs at the uniform Cyclops gives him to wear, Cyclops asks if he was expecting black leather. This is a reference to the first X-Men film, when Wolverine scoffed at the X-Men's black leather uniforms, only for Cyclops to ask him if he preferred yellow spandex instead.
Remember It - S1-E5
Trivia: In this episode we learn that Cyclops has been having a psychic affair with Madelyne Pryor, and Emma Frost, a.k.a the White Queen, was eavesdropping on one of their sessions. In the comics, it's actually Emma Frost that Cyclops began having the psychic affair with.
Bright Eyes - S1-E7
Trivia: Trask refers to Mr. Sinister's Sentinel attack on Genosha as a "mutant massacre." In the comics, there is a storyline called "Mutant Massacre," which saw Sinister tasking a group of mutants called the Marauders to kill the Morlocks. Years later, it was revealed that Gambit was hired to help sneak the Marauders into the Morlock tunnels, making him culpable in the act. This is contrary to Gambit helping to save some Morlocks from the Sentinel attack in this show.
Bright Eyes - S1-E7
Trivia: The title of this episode is likely a reference to Rogue calling Cable "Bright Eyes" in the season 2 episode "Time Fugitives, Part 2" of the original series.
