Corrected entry: During Newt's confrontation with Grindelwald's followers, his right hand sustains an injury and is dressed with a bandage. Upon Newt and Theseus' arrival at the Hogsmeade pub, it changes to his left hand, then when talking to Dumbledore it's his right again.

Correction: Newt's right hand sustains the injury while trying to protect the Qilin in the jungle. When Newt and Theseus are entering Hog's Head Inn, the camera is facing the mirror. Aberforth is wiping the mirror's surface, and we are seeing the reflection, so the image is reversed. Newt's bandaged injured right hand remains consistent. Please rewatch (00:14:50).

Godzilla (1998)

Corrected entry: When the taxi drives off from Godzilla's mouth and drives away through the bridge, you can see a woman standing in the background, but obviously nobody should be there. (02:02:00)

Correction: That is not a woman standing in the background. It's a large drop cloth draped over the bridge deck's barrier, with its bottom bit lying rumpled on the ground. Its vertical center fold may be giving you the illusion of two very long, unusual legs.

Roseanne (1988)

Correction: This "standard procedure" is not altogether cut-and-dried. It actually depends on the policy of the police department, as well as the judgment of the officers making the arrest. The two officers know Dan and Rosie. Dan was compliant, not resisting whatsoever.

Draft Day (2014)

Corrected entry: A microphone is in the shot at the beginning of the movie when Sonny is in the kitchen after getting dressed. The TV is on with Ray Jennings' stats shown. A black microphone is in frame at the top left side of the screen above the kitchen island. (00:06:10)

Correction: That isn't a black microphone. It's a black clock hanging on the wall beside the TV. The entire clock is visible 40 seconds later when Ali walks down the stairs and joins Sonny in the kitchen. Please rewatch the scene.

Character mistake: At the end of the movie, we are shown Lily's third birthday. In the voiceover, Carrie says that Rose turned 3. Rose is only about 6 months old, and it's Lily turning 3.

Suggested correction: Early in "Sex and the City: The Movie" (the first film), while the ladies are having brunch, Charlotte notes that 3-year-old Lily is repeating everything. Then, at the end, Rose is born and Carrie marries Big. Near the start of this film (2 years later, after the first film), when Charlotte joins her friends for lunch, she has her daughters with her. And 2-year-old toddler Rose, being in her "terrible twos," is noted. At the very end of this film, Carrie's voiceover states, "Time moved us on, and in the future." Then, as she continues, we see that Rose turns 3 and that Carrie and Big's marriage grew out of its own terrible twos.

Corrected entry: When the assassination attempt fails, Jones rushes to the other room without taking his whip. Later, he has it on his belt in the temple scene.

Correction: Indiana uses his whip to foil the assassin, then tells Shorty to "turn off the switch" to stop the fan (00:52:00), and as Indy rushes out to Willie's room, the assassin falls to the floor with Indy's whip. When Indiana is in Willie's room and locates the hidden entrance to the underground chambers, Indy tells Shorty, "Go get our stuff," so Shorty rushes back to Indy's room (00:53:35). While Shorty is off-screen, he retrieves the whip and their other stuff. Then, it cuts to Indy entering the underground chamber with his jacket, satchel, hat, and whip (00:53:45).

Mistaken Identity - S1-E6

Audio problem: When Jerry goes over to open the jail cell door, the sound effect of jingling keys can be heard, however the actor isn't holding any keys. The jail cell door doesn't even have a keyhole.

EyeCatcher

Suggested correction: When the Sergeant tells Jerry to open the cell (00:18:20), Jerry reaches to his left side to retrieve keys from his duty belt (there is no "sound effect of jingling keys"). And keys were visible dangling from Jerry's duty belt when he told Philip to calm his wife (00:17:10). Secondly, the jail cell door does indeed have an old-style keyhole (00:18:30).

Gold Country - S3-E21

Corrected entry: Mr Edwards is illiterate, so how did he read the article from the newspaper he gave to Charles - even down to knowing where, location-wise, the article is on the newspaper page? He even explained in detail what the article says to Charles. (00:07:00 - 00:08:00)

EyeCatcher

Correction: Back in S2, "His Father's Son," Isaiah couldn't read John's poignant letter to him. It's shown at the very end that Isaiah is learning to read on his own. When John finds Isaiah alone at the treehouse, the camera zooms in on the book lying on the windowsill - "McGuffey's Eclectic Primer" - a textbook to teach reading. In S2, E18, "The Long Road Home," Isaiah sees Charles writing a letter to Caroline and says he has "tried" to write but "kept busting all the pencils," which means he's already learned to read.

Suggested correction: Those shadows are not from a microphone and boom pole. The shadows are from the overhang's open eave with its long rafter tail. Watch the opening scene (00:00:30) showing the back of the house, with its overhang above the back door and laundry line beside the house. Those shadows are also visible in this long shot.

Correction: When Opie enters the kitchen in the interior shot, Opie's belt holster and toy gun are not gone, they're still on him at his right side. Note that this interior shot continues uninterrupted, as Opie sits down and puts his hat on the back of his chair, then as Barney walks in and takes a seat at the table. Please rewatch (00:00:45).

Goodfellas (1990)

Revealing mistake: Morrie gets whacked by Tommy with an ice pick. After that, Morrie is dead and lifeless. Soon after, Frankie Carbone (post Jimmy leaving) exits the car. When he does, the car light comes on and you can see Morrie blink. (01:45:40)

Suggested correction: Morrie does not blink, but his body moves slightly due to the car rocking.

Twotall

You can see him blink in the edition I have.

mriggins

I saw it yesterday on the Netflix version. Morrie blinked.

The mistake is valid. When Tommy says, "Where you going, you dizzy motherf*cker you," specifically just as he says the words "you dizzy," we do indeed see Morrie's left eye blink (the shadow covers his right eye). It has nothing to do with: "his body moves slightly due to the car rocking." This mistake is quite visible when streaming (MAX and Tubi, timecode 01:45:43), and it's especially visible on a laptop or iPad.

Pilot - S1-E1

Corrected entry: When Barney does "Have you met Ted?" for the first time, he taps a woman wearing a red top but you can't see her face. When the camera angle changes to reveal it as Robin, she's wearing a green top. (00:00:43)

Correction: Within the actual episode this does not occur. During the episode (00:02:50) Barney taps the shoulder of the woman wearing a red top standing beside him, and it's Yasmin wearing the red top as she and Ted continue to converse, until Yasmin tells Ted she's Carl's girlfriend. It's later in the episode (00:05:50) that Ted spots Robin wearing a green top, then Robin walks over to the bar counter. It's at this moment where Barney taps Robin's shoulder.

Corrected entry: When Frank is told he's like the James Bond of the sky, we see him briefly sitting in the cinema watching a James Bond movie. The problem is that the movie features Roger Moore as Bond, but Roger didn't star in his first Bond movie until 1973, and it would have been Sean Connery in the 1960s.

Correction: The movie Frank watches at the cinema is 1964's Goldfinger (one of the best Bond movies!), with Sir Sean Connery as James Bond.

La Confidential (1997)

Corrected entry: At the beginning when Bud is in the liquor store, and he first talks to Lynn, you see an overhead mic at the top of the screen. The next fee shots are from different angles or with the camera pulled away, but just before he leaves, they go back to the same scene between Bud and Lynn and the mic is there again as he says goodbye.

kaevanoff

Correction: Please rewatch the scene (time 00:09:05 and 00:09:23). It's not an "overhead mic at the top of the screen" in those two shots. What you see is the dark image of a pipe tobacco pack on the white background of a metal sign, attached to the liquor shelves. The sign reads "Cool Mild 10ยข" with lower part of a pipe tobacco pack. The vintage sign is for "Granger Rough Cut Pipe Tobacco" from Liggett and Myers Tobacco. Here's an identical sign: https://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/vtg-granger-rough-cut-pipe-tobacco-440971789.

The Brady Bunch (1969)

Confessions, Confessions - S2-E12

Corrected entry: While in the store to shop for glue to fix the broken vase, the man tells Bobby the glue he's holding is a 'special glue' that will fix anything which is really just a standard tube of Elmer's Glue used by any household for craft projects.

eaglegrad16

Correction: At the store, the man never uses the words "special glue" nor does the man say that it "will fix anything" while he's talking with the kids. The man actually says, "This is the best glue we've got, kids," and has them read the bottle's label about it being "good for vases," it being "not invisible," and he tells them "you've got to squint to see it." Also, it is Peter holding the Elmer's Glue-All bottle, not Bobby.

The Brady Bunch (1969)

Correction: Alice calls the Zap-It Exterminator Co, and says, "This is the Brady residence, you did a termite inspection for us a while back," then Alice ends the call with, "Yes, I'll be waiting." So the Zap-It exterminators already have their address on file from the termite inspection.

Super Grover

Despite Alice telling them 'it's the Brady residence', there could have been a dozen or so residents in the area last named Brady. So there'd be no way of knowing which one was actually calling, as doubtful they had caller ID or call tracer in 1970.

eaglegrad16

But it's entirely believable that this specific exterminator might only have worked for one Brady household, and therefore knows who's calling.

Worst Case Scenario - S6-E1

Continuity mistake: During the takedown at the apartment Danny is entering the building wearing hoodie and the shield around his neck, going upstairs, the next shot he is in shirt tie and vest at the staging area, then he is back in the apartment in the doorway in his hoodie, then he is in the street in vest and tie. Suggested correction: Danny is not one of the 4 men who follow Maria Baez inside and up the stairs (at 00:20:40). They are John Knight and his 3 men, all plainclothes with their shields hanging from necks. Earlier, right before Baez and the 4 men head out to the apartment, John Knight is standing near his 3 men inside the Clyde motorcycle shop (at 00:18:46 for example). Rewatch please.

Emergency! (1972)

An Ounce of Prevention - S6-E13

Corrected entry: As Roy and the stagehand are bringing in the equipment to treat the shock victim Engine 51 rolls into the scene. Not enough time has passed for the engine to respond. They haven't even started treating the victim yet.

Correction: First, Cap and other guys at Station 51 were watching the live TV show, then heard the explosion happen live, so Engine 51 rolled out immediately and notified dispatch. Second, we don't know how far the set of the Tom Jensen Show is from Station 51. It cannot be a plot hole since we don't have the necessary information. All we know is Roy and John were cleared for 90 minutes. Third, when Jensen tells his live audience, "What you're witnessing is remarkable" John has already begun treating the victim with mouth-to-mouth resuscitation, while Roy and Jensen's guy go to wherever Squad 51 is parked outside, to get the stowed paramedic supplies. Then the shot dissolves (we don't know how much time goes by - 2, 3 minutes?) and cuts to Engine 51 arriving on scene, as Roy and Jensen's guy return with all the gear.

Super Grover

Engine 51 cannot just roll out since they saw it live. If they were the closest to the show, they would need to be dispatched to the fire. As we don't know where the show is, there may be another station closer.
