Answer: I read this book as a kid and so did my mom. She said she cut her hair because she was tired of them clipping pieces for their spells. I don't remember that part in the book. I might have to read it again.
Answer: They may have found out that Terry was not healthy-or fertile-enough, is my guess.

Joker (2019)
Question: Why does Arthur kill his mother? Does he feel she lied to him about his father? Maybe his madness going further? Perhaps even he wanted to end her suffering?
Answer: I'd probably rule out of the last reason you mentioned, on the first one you have to consider that the lie goes deeper than just the father's identity, if that is a lie at all. Through the information he saw on the medical record - and he kills her after seeing that record - it turns out that she had let him be abused and beaten up since a tender age, which would probably be the cause of his mental and physical issues. In his line before the murder, he mentions her full name, and how he has not been happy a minute of his whole life, so the terrible childhood, which maybe now came back to him, is a real factor. Mentioning the comedy, so a play, might also imply a sort of detachment now that he understands that it was all a lie from the beginning and she's not even his real mother (if that's what he believes).

Animal House (1978)
Question: Why didn't the mayor try and have the Deltas arrested for both the mayhem they caused at the parade and that one of them may have had fun with his underaged daughter? Obviously the audience knows the member didn't but the mayor doesn't.
Answer: There's no indication that the Deltas didn't face legal ramifications from their actions at the parade, nor that Pinto didn't get in trouble (when we last see him, he's literally being chased by the mayor). The film ends at that point and, although the film provides title cards telling us what happened to the characters far in the future, we don't see the immediate aftermath.

Joker (2019)
Question: My question's twofold: 1. Why does he do that dance down the stairs, for fun maybe? 2. When he speaks about comedy being subjective is this a knock on modern comedians and their controversial jokes and skits?
Answer: 1 - Why does he dance a bunch of times in the movie? It's kinda his thing! You can see that Murray himself does little goofy dances all the time during his show and Arthur sorta seems to have taken that trait from him. 2 - I have heard that "comedy is subjective" for years and years. It is sort of a truism but it does fit, some people like a certain kind of humor that can fall completely flat for others. I am not sure if you should read some specificity about it in this movie, except for the fact that obviously he's using it to justify his own actions to the point of considering 'funny' to commit murder in the context of the perspective change when he starts considering his tragic life a whole big joke with no punchline. I don't really see in this movie a satire of show business or shock comedy, since it seems to focus on other themes (mental illness, emargination, etcetera).
Answer: 1. It's supposed to be a highly emotional moment for him, the first time he takes control of his own life. He basically celebrates that. 2. I think he is referring to Murray, or at least something in-universe. This is all of course speculative.

So I Married an Axe Murderer (1993)
Question: Why on one DVD cover for this did they remove the axe Harriet's holding behind her back?
Answer: The version without the axe is the original version. It was a later version that "shopped" in the weapon, presumably to even up the picture and mirror the fact that Charlie has something behind his back. Technically, the axe version doesn't even make sense since Harriet is not, in fact, an axe murderer.

Question: Just how did Charles explain Raven showing up when they were kids to his parents? What could he think up and why would they even adopt her, maybe they only wanted one child?
Answer: It is never explained, but the speed and confidence in which Charles offers his home to Raven suggests that all Charles would have to do is ask his parents if Raven could stay and they would allow it. Why this is the case is again, not explained but it could certainly have something to do with his powers. He could influence his parents to allow Raven to stay quite easily with his telepathic abilities.

X-Men: Apocalypse (2016)
Question: When Jean Grey says the third movie in a franchise is always the worst is this a joke on all franchises as well as X Men: The Last Stand?
Answer: Yes, this is a thinly veiled jab at X-Men: The Last Stand. That film had a notably poor reception among fans and critics and at that point was generally considered the worst of the X-Men films. Ironically, X-Men: Apocalypse was also poorly received and is technically the 3rd film in the "First Class" series.
Answer: She's not making a joke. Sequels are often criticized because the more that are made from an original movie, the greater the decline in the quality. The scripts are often repetitive and unoriginal, and the purpose seems to be only to make as much money as possible with the least amount of creativity or effort.

Dark Phoenix (2019)
Question: Did Raven ever love Charles? They seemingly teased something like this in First Class so I'm merely curious.
Answer: Yes, during the events of First Class it is clear that Raven harbors romantic feelings for Charles, though Charles himself views the relationship as platonic. After meeting Erik, Raven's romantic affections seem to shift to him and Raven views Charles as an adoptive brother. This inadvertently causes something of a rivalry between Erik and Charles when Raven decides to leave with Erik. In Days of Future Past Charles' behavior seems to suggest some romantic feelings for Raven, with Charles expressing jealousy of Erik's relationship with Raven. By the time of Apocalypse, Charles and Raven once again seem to have a strictly platonic relationship which remains in place through Dark Phoenix.

Answer: Babe Bennett stole Preston Blake's journal from Longfellow Deeds. As for why she dyed her hair, it was probably part of her disguise. She was a TV journalist pretending to be someone else (as Pam Dawson) so she could get a story on Longfellow.

Dark Phoenix (2019)
Question: Some valid reason Mystique dies early? Did Jennifer Lawrence get tired of playing her and wanted out?
Answer: Your guess is correct. Lawrence stated she was done with the franchise after "X-Men: Apocalypse." She jokingly told Simon Kinberg she would return for this film if he directed it, and to her surprise, he was serious about it and held her to it. Fans weren't very keen on her appearances either, because she was definitely phoning it in for the third film, so that may have factored into killing her off early as well.
More than one actress had played Mystique. Just because Jennifer Lawrence did not want to continue playing that role is not a reason the character would be killed off. They could easily recast another notable actress in the part. I would not be surprised if Mystique is miraculously "resurrected" in a future X-Men film with a new actress.
Aside from Deadpool, any new X-Men film would be a complete overhaul of the franchise since the characters will be part of the MCU now. You're not wrong about an actor wanting out to not really be a reason to kill off a character, but it doesn't preclude them from doing so either. They might have decided it wouldn't be worth the hassle of recasting the role with all the negative baggage that would come with it.
Here are some candidates I think could do it: Amanda Seyfried, Shailene Woodley, Chloe Grace Moretz. Heck maybe even Milla Jovovich-Anderson should be given an audition, what say you guys?

Manifest (2018)
Question: Does it seem like this show took from LOST in the sense that a phenomenal event starting with a plane crash changed people's lives?
Answer: Only superficially. Manifest doesn't even begin with a plane crash, but rather a plane disappearing for 5 years with the assumption that it crashed, which turns out not to be true.
In the particulars it seems different, but the overall plot is the same. A seemingly random group on an airplane experience a weird event and spend years trying to figure out what happened. Let's hope the reveal in the final episode is not as disappointing as "LOST" - they're actually all dead.
Answer: Yes, I see the larger connection. There are a lot of movies and shows where people come back from somewhere like car, train, and bus crashes, or even space, war, or who knows where, then try to figure out why. We probably should consider a new genre for plots where the departed or missing return and try to figure out why. Needs a name though. Maybe "Come-back Conundrums" or "Put-back Puzzlers"?
Answer: "The major" is a major general, no major general would go by a title implying a lower rank. Her official DOD photo shows her (and a bunch of other women in uniform) with long loose hair below their collar. Women's hair has to be above the collar or put up, until VERY recently, and if this show is set in 2018 the hair is out of regulations. No major general would have an official photo with hair out of regs.

Question: If they were constantly being bullied then why didn't Ralph and his friends tell their parents about their bully? That and why take the same route home if they knew that's where he'd be waiting for them?
Answer: Until recently, bullying wasn't taken very seriously. Also, school kids don't take very kindly to the idea of 'snitching.' Scut might have gotten in trouble if they'd told their parents, but in the long run, that might have made things worse for them. As for taking a different route home, it's possible he altered where he ambushed them or that he wasn't there every single day.
Thanks it's just that when Mad Magazine did their spoof of this I wondered this as did they.

Question: So aside from trying, very badly, at playing football did they ever play other sports on the show? I'd think the best ones would be figure skating, roller derby, and track. Shelley Hack could've played basketball while there.
Answer: In Season 2, Episode 16, Game, Set, Death, Kris Munroe (Cheryl Ladd) plays tennis.

Answer: Terry was murdered by the the Castevets (pushing her out the window). Terry became suspicious about Roman and Minnie and why they had taken her into their home. It may also be that once they met Rosemary and Guy, they found Rosemary to be a more suitable "mother." Regarding Rosemary's hair. When she became pregnant, she experienced severe and constant pain keeping her housebound. She finally decided not to give into it anymore and made an effort to go about her normal life, having lunch with Hutch, getting a new haircut, planning a party for her and Guy's old friends that they never saw anymore, and so on. It was only after she threatened Guy to go back to her original doctor that a spell was apparently put on her to stop the pain.

Terry may have actually committed suicide (with a little 'help') because she couldn't face the fact that she was to be used to procreate with Satan. This is indicated if you listen to Ruth Gordon's voice as the nun in Rosemary's "dream" when Rosemary was actually overhearing Minnie through the wall, chastising Roman with "If you had listened to me we wouldn't have to do this! We would have been all set to go instead of having to start from scratch! I told you not to tell her in advance. I told you she wouldn't be open-minded!"
