Continuity mistake: Clyde Bruckman commits suicide by placing a plastic bag over his head until he asphyxiates. However, when Mulder and Scully first discover him you can see in the shot just before Scully holds his hands that there is no plastic bag around his head (may only be visible in widescreen format). Visible crew/equipment: When Tim is looking at the fake severed head in the microwave, the camera that is mounted inside the microwave is visible before it switches to that camera's point of view.

Factual error: When Charles Barkley says "Welcome to the NBA" after dunking on Mark, the ceiling shown above Barkley is way too low to be the ceiling for Haas Pavilion at UC Berkley where the game is being played. It only appears to be about 30 feet high.

Other mistake: While working in the basement, the young Hugh Crain gets his right hand sliced badly by a fan. When the story next jumps forward to the present time, the first thing we see is Hugh grabbing a handful of dirt with the same hand and there is barely a scar on it.

Trivia: At the end of the episode when Jill is asking to sing with the Beach Boys, Wilson's entire face is visible for a split-second (for those unfamiliar with the show, one of its running gags is that Wilson's face is always partially obscured, usually the lower half). (00:21:10)

Revealing mistake: At the beginning of the episode, Robb and Blackfish Tully are pushing Hoster Tully's funeral boat down the river. When they climb back onto the dock, there is already a trail of water going from the steps and ending where Robb ends up standing. None of the other characters standing on this portion of the dock have wet clothes, meaning none of them went into the river, indicating that the trail of water was from previous takes.

Trivia: During the climactic battle, before Doctor Strange returns with the other restored heroes, there is a wide shot of Captain America all by his lonesome walking towards Thanos. This is similar to a scene from the "Infinity Gauntlet" story, where amongst a slew of defeated heroes, Cap defiantly walks right up to Thanos and tells him he will never be able claim victory as long as at least one person stands against him.

Trivia: Another thing "The Simpsons" predicted: Towards the end of this episode, a sign outside of a film studio shows the 20th Century Fox logo with "A Division of Walt Disney Co" written under it. Nineteen years after this episode aired, Disney purchased many assets from 20th/21st Century Fox, including "The Simpsons."

Continuity mistake: When Mr. Freeze's henchman Johnny gets his legs frozen, an ice "bridge" connects the gap between his feet. A few shots later and the connective ice is gone, making it look like he is wearing boots made of ice. (00:05:45 - 00:07:00)

Continuity mistake: The broken window pane on the door to the District Attorney's office changes slightly from shot to shot. When first shown, the break in the glass extends all the way up to the letter "L" in the word "law." When the shot changes, the break in the glass is nowhere near the letter "L." Also, the letter "W" in the word "law" is missing entirely, even though the break in the glass suggests a portion of the letter would still be intact if the letters were painted on the glass, as is standard. Continuity mistake: When we see Two-Face in full for the first time in the previous episode, his left eyebrow is white. In this episode, his left eyebrow is black.

Continuity mistake: When Harvey Dent is scarred in the previous episode, it's only the left side of his face and neck. In this episode and all others with Two-Face, his left hand is also scarred and discolored.
