Continuity mistake: When Iron Man hits MODOK with a repulsor blast, MODOK goes somersaulting backwards. When the shot changes, MODOK is still somersaulting, but his body has flipped 180°. (00:17:56)

Continuity mistake: When the Leader is talking about obtaining Mandarin's powers, the camera is focused on the ring on his finger, with Leader's face reflected in it. It then match-cuts to an outstretched finger adorned with a ring and Bruce Banner's face reflected in it. When the shot changes, Banner is holding the ring between his thumb and index finger. Continuity mistake: When Iron Man, Bruce Banner and Rhodey are all in the helicopter, Banner is sitting directly behind Iron Man. A couple of shots later, Banner is sitting directly behind Rhodey. (00:04:38)

Continuity mistake: When Leader is attacking the helicopter, it causes Bruce Banner to fully transform into the Hulk. When Hulk is jumping out of the helicopter, he is shown to have Banner's head, which again transforms into the Hulk's head as he freefalls. (00:06:30)

Continuity mistake: When the Leader comes to, he looks over at the broken case that contained two of the Mandarin's rings, and sees only one, which Hulk picks up and then inadvertently teleports himself and Iron Man to another time with. When Rhodey tells Leader to bring them back, he says he can't do so without the other ring, only for Rhodey to bend down and pick up the second ring from the same spot the first ring was, even though it was shown to be missing moments earlier. Other mistake: When H.O.M.E.R. is bringing up the map to show where MODOK's likely location is, the states are so crudely drawn that they shouldn't be considered to be a legitimate map. The four corners of Utah, Colorado, New Mexico and Arizona don't line up, Utah is almost entirely square-shaped, Nevada looks like it has been smashed between California and Utah, and the eastern part of New Mexico has been elongated. Continuity mistake: When Justin Hammer is talking to the reporters, there is a blonde woman wearing a hat in the foreground, she has a cameraman on her left and no-one is on her immediate right. A couple of shots later, her hat is larger than previously show, a different man is on her left, and another man is on her immediate right. (00:07:01)
