Revealing mistake: Dwayne finds a newspaper which hilariously happens to have a perfect close-up photo of one of the suspects out of the thousands of protesters, right on the first page. Couple of problems with it; first, the text is just 2 paragraphs copy/pasted all over, and second, more blatant; the caption of the photo says "Valerie Clayton", but Dwayne just called her "Valerie Pellow." Revealing mistake: Goodman and Bordey are interviewing Terrance Jackson after the revelation involving Rosie. During the scene, in most shots despite the storm that supposedly is happening, the leaves outside are subjected to a gentle breeze if at all. (00:26:00)

Revealing mistake: Dwayne aided by Emily is bringing in the two boxes of papers from the storage. Transporting them is a difficult task with the storm that is raging on. A strange storm that happens to shake the plants in the foreground, but with Caroline Proust's hair and the leaves of the trees on the other side completely untouched. (00:16:40)

Revealing mistake: Davey at the beginning of the movie is looking at the newspaper he's delivering to Mr. Wayne Mackey. Just from a glance at the page you can tell that something is off, since the article supposedly about a missing boy appears to be written entirely in first person. Upon closer inspection, turns out that it's filler text from chapter IV of Robert Louis Stevenson' s "Treasure Island". (00:01:30)

Revealing mistake: Pablo and his buddy are driving through the middle of nowhere, and end up in the bucolic town of Red Stone. The first two people they drive by are armed with machetes. The close-up of the second one is reversed, as shown by the dilapidated street sign - it can't be deliberately shown by say, the car mirror, because they are looking at him turning their head. Revealing mistake: When Goodman looks at the two old pictures from the graduation ceremony side by side, they are blatantly photoshopped in a poor way; look at the way the characters stand out from the background, the light on the man on the right of the left pic, and there's even a frock or bag that two of the women carry that is a copy/paste from one picture to the other. Revealing mistake: When Ben Miller asks for the forensics report on the oyster and shot glass, the report has egregious spelling mistakes ("Specimin" instead of Specimen) and shows the victim testing positive for Oxycodone rather than strychnine! For the record, it is an entirely different lab test (a real one, with 'specimen' spelt correctly) done for a patient under prescription medications (morphine, oxycodone and benadryl) and its date is inconsistent with every other episode (it's a 03/19/2010 document and in the first season it was established the year was 2011), but these last details can be noticed only if you freeze-frame. Revealing mistake: Richard at home is reading a book on slavery. An English book, at least the cover and the big header of the first internal page are in English, and about slavery. But a quick peek before the cut easily reveals that the book is written in French and talks about cocktails. (00:28:10)

Revealing mistake: Magnum takes an ancient gun from the cabinet and stumbles upon one of the eccentric millionaire's practical jokes. The joke though is an impossible one; the string that supposedly triggers it is not there, and when the gun goes off, Magnum is not holding the gun in a way that would pull it. (00:16:25)

Revealing mistake: During the flight towards Karen's location at the end of the episode, TC's chopper suddenly has emergency floats equipped on the skids in the shots when it flies over the coast. (00:43:00)

Revealing mistake: Magnum confronts on the beach the slimy journalist and he 'threatens' him. He then turns around to leave. Close-up on Reporter Eric Daniels and after a second you can see in the left corner of the screen a tiny bit of Magnum's maroon hawaiian shirt pop in view. He never left. (00:18:50)

Revealing mistake: When Higgins shows Magnum the article that (allegedly) manipulates his words to support the thesis that Karen was driven mad by 'Nam, the paper uses the famed recurring filler text that many Earl Hays Press papers use ("An immediate investigation is assured") that appears in dozens of movies. Revealing mistake: In the close-up of the newspaper with the headline about Karen being the suspect in the serial killings, the same 3 paragraphs are plastered randomly all over the page. (00:06:50)

Revealing mistake: In one of the many cartoonish scenes involving Rick, he gets utterly stunned by the weak silly airplane-spin like movie Borgnine performs on him and after a chirping birds sound effect is played, he - or rather, his stuntman - does a Ric Flair faceflop. The stuntman is wearing tennis shoes with clean rubber soles. After his scene with Higgins, Magnum arrives with TC and Rick in a headlock - Rick falls in that shot, and he is wearing patent dress shoes with black soles. (00:27:20 - 00:29:40)

Revealing mistake: When Magnum stops the car right by Higgins who is tending to the plants, there's a close-up of the car tyres raising a lot of dust - or not, actually; it's as if the tyres were vacuuming the dust in! The footage is played backwards. (00:28:05)

Revealing mistake: When Earl punches Rick in the jaw, he's wearing his beanie hat. He (or rather, Mr. Borgnine's stunt double) uses his foot to flip him over, and he is not wearing a hat. When he releases Magnum from the 'Detroit death grip', we're back to a beanie-wearing Ernst Borgnine. (00:32:00)

Revealing mistake: When Earl is carrying TC across his shoulders, Roger E. Mosley is replaced by his stunt double - you can even see his face, and he's also wearing a different belt - Mosley's is of a reddish brown, the stunt person's is dark chocolate. (00:26:20)

Revealing mistake: Mr. White Death intervenes to even the odds as Magnum and TC are getting beaten up. He grabs one guy right away and sends him flying against a wall - but the extra does not fancy headbutting a wall, and even if his character goes KO for the rest of the fight, it's obvious that he connects with the wall with both palms and the head stays inches away from it.
