Continuity mistake: When Kirk exits the turbolift he sits in the captain's chair, and Yeoman Smith stands behind him with barely any space between them, but in the shot facing the main viewscreen Smith is gone, and in the next shot she reappears right behind Kirk again. Smith continues to disappear and reappear in following shots. (00:04:00)

Revealing mistake: When Korby introduces the new android Kirk to Chapel, as the duplicator table slowly turns the edit in the footage can be seen in this shot, just as the real Kirk suddenly vanishes from the space he was in.

Continuity mistake: While Kirk's trying to convince Ruk that Korby's creating the same danger just like the Old Ones, when Kirk tells him that humans are full of unpredictable emotions, the closeup of Kirk is a flipped shot (the jumpsuit's blue and green switch sides).

Continuity mistake: As the women are beaming aboard in the transporter room, McCoy's uniform switches from the standard blue tunic to his short-sleeved medical smock and back again between shots. (00:05:55)

Visible crew/equipment: After the Secret Service agent calls the counterfeiters "our guys," when it cuts to them back at the office at least three actors' T-marks are visible on the floor.

Visible crew/equipment: After Charlie comes up with the idea of creating a false master key and designing the lock that it opens, when it cuts to them back at the office the yellow T-mark can be seen on the floor by David's foot.

Continuity mistake: While the mother is driving her children to school in a minivan, both the driver's seat and the front passenger seat change from having the headrest/whiplash protector being attached to the seats (non-removable), to having the adjustable kind that have been removed.

Visible crew/equipment: After Charlie tells Alan that he and Amita have a lot of work to do and that Alan's hovering over them, when Alan walks away from the table we can see the actor's tape marks on the floor where he had been standing, and also more blocking tape on the rug and kitchen floor.

Continuity mistake: While Don's at the parking garage with Rachel Abbott's car he realises that the killer had been watching Karen Silber's house, and when they rush off to her house there are white security bars on the windows and front door in the long shot and also later in the news footage, but when they're at her house none of those bars exist and the shrubbery also differs.

Revealing mistake: After Sophie faints at her bachelorette party, during the next scene it cuts back and forth between shots taking place in two rooms - Donna walking into Tanya and Rosie's room, then Sophie walking into Ali and Lisa's room, and both rooms have the very same cracks and stains on the walls revealing it was filmed in the same room, but with different furniture.

Continuity mistake: During Nadya's escape from the monastery, there are exterior shots of Nadya through the windshield and there's nothing hanging from the rear-view mirror, but in the interior shot (viewed from the back seat) just as she swerves away from the red car, there's a small cross on a cord which is hanging from the rear-view mirror.

Continuity mistake: We've seen the arrangement of Joey and Chandler's bathroom in two previous episodes (1x3, The One with the Thumb, and 1x12, The One with the Dozen Lasagnas) with the sink opposite the bathroom door. In this episode the sink is relocated and the bath/shower is now opposite the bathroom door, for the rest of the series.

Continuity mistake: At the beginning, when Carrie is trying to park the car she's wearing a 3/4 sleeve blue top in the closeups, but in the overhead shot of the car for the last attempt when Carrie says that she's cutting it, the driver is not wearing that blue top, the driver is wearing a plaid shirt. Continuity mistake: While everyone's at the restaurant Rachel dips a tortilla chip into guacamole and gets some on her hand. When Paolo takes a bite from the chip he also eats the guacamole off Rachel's hand while she's still holding the rest of the tortilla chip, but in the next closeup Rachel's hand is empty, then in the next shot the remaining tortilla chip reappears in Rachel's hand. Visible crew/equipment: After Kirk's briefing regarding Mitchell's abilities, when Spock and Kirk are alone just as Spock says that they'll never reach an earth base with Mitchell aboard, the boom mic casts a shadow overhead until Spock steps forward, and a bit can be seen again when Spock tells Kirk that it's his only choice. (00:24:50)

Continuity mistake: When the Thasians restore Yeoman Rand on the bridge she's barefoot, but when Charlie begs Kirk not to let the Thasians take him because he can't live with them anymore, we see Rand wearing a white fluffy slipper (which she wasn't holding when she reappeared), then she's back to being barefoot again. (00:44:42)

Visible crew/equipment: After Uhura tells Kirk that "Captain Ramart of the Antares is on D channel," Kirk and Charlie head to the bridge, and when it cuts to Uhura the actor's tape mark can be seen on the floor behind her, where Charlie will stand when he steps out of the turbolift.
