Other mistake: When Ida is with Prince, in some of the closeups Prince is wearing a custom halter noseband with "Sky High Angels" embossed on the leather. The "Sweethearts of the Rodeo" rodeo stunts featured in the movie were performed by the "Sky High Angels" a real rodeo drill team, and Prince was played by Hank, an equine member of the "Sky High Angels."

Other mistake: When Rex shakes the table causing the baby monitor to fall, the batteries fall out and we see the open battery compartment with markings for positive (+) and negative (-), and space for two AA batteries. Woody jumps off the bed and places the two batteries inside the compartment, but before he closes the compartment note the position of the battery closest to the top of the monitor. The positive side is actually where the negative side should be so the monitor should not work, but the monitor turns on just in time to hear the soldier's warning. (00:13:15)

Other mistake: While Nisi and Mickey are in the kitchen, when Isaac and Manley walk in, on the counter is a box of instant grits with tape covering its brand name (Quaker) and a bit of tape covering the face of the company logo. Then when Mr. Blakemore takes out the ice cream there's tape covering its brand name as well.

Other mistake: When Tom calls Schatze the first time and mentions seeing her ads in magazines, in the following shots while Schatze's on the phone and particularly while she's talking to Pola, we see the milk carton on the table which has tape all the way around it covering its brand name on both sides. Other mistake: When Ricky puts the baby in the crib and begins telling him the bedtime story, in the closeups Little Ricky's sitting up beside the crib rails (at Ricky's side of the room), but in all the wideshots when the camera pulls back to show Ricky's lively storytelling, we can see that Little Ricky is not where he should be.
