Trivia: Emma Mackey was partly cast as she and Margot Robbie are often confused for each other. Greta Gerwig wanted to make a joke about that fact in the film, but once they were both dressed up as their respective characters they didn't look like each other much, so the idea was scrapped.

Trivia: Ryan Gosling showed up to the premiere of this film dressed as Beavis from Beavis and Butt-Head. He had previously dressed up as the character a few weeks prior for an episode of Saturday Night Live, alongside SNL cast member Mikey Day, who was dressed as Butt-Head.

Trivia: This film features appearances from WWE alumni John Cena and Dwayne Johnson. There used to be real-life acrimony between the two, as Cena was critical of Johnson for leaving the WWE to pursue a film career, alleging he abandoned his fans and the business he claimed to love. Cena would later apologize for this disposition after pursuing a film career of his own, acknowledging that he didn't make the effort to view things from Johnson's perspective.

Trivia: Senator Grebleips, who appears when the Queen of Naboo speaks to the senate, is an alien from "E.T." making a cameo appearance. This is after Steven Spielberg ('Grebleips' is 'Spielberg' backwards) included some "Star Wars" references in "E.T."
