Factual error: All Arabic texts in the film suffer from wrong directional rendering. Arabic is a right-to-left language. Its letters have different joined and disjoined forms. The film, however, has rendered Arabic texts from left to right in disjoined letters. These texts aren't semantically wrong, though. For example, deciphering the Arabic message at 0:40:45 point gives "أليس "التنين فنان؟ Translation: "Isn't the Dragon an artist?" The film has even adopted a good font for them.
Other mistake: When the helicopter was flying toward and over Apex Island, the helicopter (as well as the similarly-sized box) was about 1/10 or 1/12 the width of the island. In the next view, from almost ground-level, the helicopter was about as wide as one pine tree. (00:10:30)
Continuity mistake: At the restaurant, the background varies a few times behind Beth and Jack seated at a table. When the background is blurred, a young man can be seen to the left behind Beth, but he is not there when the background is clear. (Despite the different camera angle, he should still be visible.) Instead, two men are seated at the bar counter or an elevated table and a woman behind them is facing the screen. (00:11:47 - 00:12:49)
Continuity mistake: After talking with Bullock on the roof, Batman is in his vehicle and talking to Hugo. On the screen, Hugo lifts up a glass to his mouth to take a drink, but when the camera cuts to a close up of the screen, suddenly his arm is lower, and he is once again lifting the glass to his face. (00:05:37)
Continuity mistake: Sharyn's top sheet was messy and wrinkled underneath her while she was sitting on her bed, but the sheet was smoother and the top part was folded over/down after the doctor left and she returned from pounding on the door. (00:07:26 - 00:08:28)
Continuity mistake: Joe has 'Rick C' (his partner) listed as a contact in his phone - late on in the movie when Joe calls him from the bathroom stall, he is listed as just "Rick"
Continuity mistake: Mia holds her doll's face next to hers, but the doll is not there when the camera shifts. The doll is to Mia's side on the bed, but instantly back next to her face. (This is independent of the times Mia moves her doll.) (00:02:25)
Factual error: He grabs a Glock handgun and a suppressor and begins threading on the suppressor. For this to work in real life, the handgun would need a threaded barrel which extends half inch past the end of the slide. The one he grabs, the barrel is flush with the slide, no threads. (01:05:35)
Factual error: There was a lot of thunder and lightning before the lightning strike that set the barn on fire, but there was no obvious loud thunder AFTER the strike. Lightning can be seen BEFORE the sound of thunder (because lightning travels faster than sound). (00:03:25)
Continuity mistake: When Brandon is talking to his sister Shannon about the car photos, the clock goes from 11:50 to 11:40 and back to 11:50. (00:25:37)
Revealing mistake: DEA Agent Rick Bowden was already seated "in the best position" before knowing where Ross would sit in the SF library. Chris Tarbell already had a surveillance camera behind the seat Ross chose, giving him a clear view of Ross, also before knowing where Ross was going to sit. Even if there were cameras in other positions, the DEA Agent and Chris Tarbell being at the right spots in advance was too coincidental to be by chance alone. (00:02:09 - 00:02:30)
Continuity mistake: The bull horns and skull attached to the front of Doug's SUV were much larger on his way to the site than when he pulled up to the meeting spot. Initially, the horns spanned past the low beams, but were some distance from the low beams on each side when he arrived. The overall size of the skull was noticeably smaller and looked less menacing. (00:20:03 - 00:20:35)
Continuity mistake: The rear of the steer carcass was on fire and smoldering, but not seconds later in the aerial view. Also in the aerial view, the position of the steer relative to Alexander was different. (00:06:00)
Revealing mistake: When Jake is sliding on the floor at the mall trying to grab his retainer, streak marks are visible on the floor from where they practised the shot.
Factual error: No judge would award guardianship of a person with something like autism to a sibling who's a recovering alcoholic and drug dealer.
Suggested correction: I think it is POSSIBLE, but not probable. Someone on the spectrum may have poor coping skills when dealing with strangers or would not do well if placed in an unfamiliar environment. Placement with a sibling - even one as you described (recovering alcoholic and drug dealer) - may be less traumatic and disruptive than with a non-relative or stranger. A judge would have to weigh the bad against the good while considering the person's needs and the sibling's ability to meet or exceed those needs.
Revealing mistake: During one of the chase scenes, an SUV hits a rock barrier and flips over landing on its top. The car spins around, and we see that it is empty. The driver then climbs out as if he was just in the vehicle.
Continuity mistake: When two officers go to inform Ronald Whitlock (Bruce Willis) about his sons, Ronald shoots his pistol at the Black officer and hits him near his inner right eyebrow. (A large black spot can be seen between his eyebrows.) When the camera shows the dead officer, the black mark is gone and the bullet hole is on his forehead centered about 2" above his left eye. (00:06:40)
Continuity mistake: The police officer stopped his cruiser some distance behind Malik's SUV, but the cruiser was closer to Malik's SUV when the officer was talking to him and when he pulled his gun on him. (00:19:27 - 00:21:55)
Character mistake: Detective King (?) told Mikey, "You're on probation. You got no rights." King knew Mikey had been in prison, so should have said, "You're on parole" (not probation). Although a layperson might use probation and parole interchangeably, an employee in the criminal justice system (such as a detective) should know the differences between the terms and use the right one. A parolee is given an early, conditional release from prison and has fewer "rights" than a probationer. (00:47:10)
Continuity mistake: The door had multiple small rectangular glass panes enclosed in wood frames, but the glass pane that Alan Schaefer's head/body went through was larger and no wood frames were visible. (00:40:28)
