Continuity mistake: While Alan's sitting on the couch, Evelyn's talking to Alan "helping...through a very difficult time," and in the shots facing Alan all of the books on the table behind him, and also the books on the couch's side table keep changing - not just their position, all the books actually become different books. Additionally, in the shots facing Charlie, the books beside the chair and the books/CDs/DVDs on the bookcase change as well.

Trivia: When Charlie and Alan talk about the age of Charlie's girlfriend Michelle, Alan predicts Charlie will have been dead for some time when she gets 70. As it turns out Alan was right, due to Charlie's untimely demise between Season 8 and Season 9.
Question: Is Charlie's house the same set as Lavern & Shirley's house when they move to California? I think it's the same living room w/o the view of the Pacific.
Answer: To confirm, it is not the same set. In fact, the "Two and Half Men" production staff have officially denied their set is based on the "Laverne and Shirley" set, but just appear similar since they share a Spanish Colonial style. In addition, "Two and Half Men" and "Laverne and Shirley" were produced by two different companies and shot on two different stages.
Answer: It's the same set.
