Continuity mistake: When Joe and Gus enter the diner towards the start of the film we see the waitress come over to see if they are ready to order. The camera switches from looking at Gus and then to Joe. When the camera is on Joe, we see the guy sitting with his back to Joe turns his head round to the left to look at Joe and Gus. Then when the camera changes angle to look at Gus and Joe from in front of this guy, his head is twisting back round from the other direction (right to left).

Continuity mistake: During the scene in which Jerry and Avery break up we see him comforting her right before she punches him. When the shot is from behind him you can see that he is holding her and stroking her face with his right hand. As the camera switches angle to face him his hands are now at his sides.

Continuity mistake: When Roy goes to see Molly at her office we see him about to ask Molly out. During this scene Roy's hair style constantly changes. His fringe is messy and sticking up when the camera faces him from Molly's view; and flat and tidy when the camera is at the opposite angle.

Continuity mistake: During the first competition when Roy is caddying for David Sims we see Roy offer David the 3 Wood. When David refuses they have a discussion. Watch as you see Roy holding the club in his left hand lower the club down holding it in his hand. Right after the discussion we see Roy then once again pull the 3 Wood from the bag and again offer it to David.

Continuity mistake: During the competition in which Roy is caddying for David Sims we see Roy about to hand Sims the three Iron. Notice that he has the golf bag on his shoulder. Then when Sims approaches him to ask for the seven iron the camera changes angle and the bag is now standing on the ground.

Continuity mistake: After Phileas and Passepartout escape the art gallery we see them come up through a man-hole cover in the street. We see the girl exit the sewer and then Phileas. Just as he is getting out there is a couple walking past. The camera changes and they have disappeared, and we then see them walk past again.

Continuity mistake: During the game against St. Francis at the end of film we see an argument between two players from the opposing teams. As we see them being broken up, a player from each of the teams is in the middle of their two teams, one walking forwards towards his team, and the Richmond player walking backwards to his. While this whole argument is shown to be one sequence, we see the same shot played again about five seconds later, but this time from a birds eye view.

eXistenZ (1999)
Continuity mistake: At the very beginning of the film we see the Seminar Leader start to write eXistenZ on the board. We see him write the letter 'e', but then the camera changes and he starts to write the letter 'X'. Notice that the letter 'e' has changed from how he originally wrote it. Then when he finishes writing eXistanZ the camera switches position again and the writing has all changed the look again. Most noticeable by the crossing of the letter 't'. As we saw him write it, then cross portion was much higher than in the wider shot.

Continuity mistake: When Ted and Alegra are escaping from the seminar we see them in the car driving through the countryside. Ted's phone rings and Alegra grabs it, throws it out the window which she then shuts. A few moments later, Alegra informs Ted that anyone can use his phone to track where they are. The camera then changes angle to face Alegra, and the window is now open again.

Continuity mistake: As Lincoln and Jordan are escaping they enter a room and we then see the guards coming down a set of stairs. You then hear Jordan shout at Lincoln. As the camera cuts back, we see the same guard run down the same set of stairs again.

Continuity mistake: At the end of the movie during the big shootout, we see Martin and Grocer shoot the two cops as they come through the doors. When they stop shooting we can see that Grocer is out of ammo (the sliders on his guns are back) and Martin is out of ammo only on the gun in his left hand (our right) as the slider on the right hand gun is still forward. Yet when he turns to face Grocer, both guns are empty and the sliders are back.

Continuity mistake: During the scene in which Uncle Vernon's sister Marge is turned into a balloon we see her floating out of the conservatory. A second before she is blown out the door we see from the shot looking into the conservatory that Aunt Petunia is to the right of the conservatory doors inside the dining room. When the shot changes, she is now standing in the doorway to the conservatory.

Continuity mistake: When Kevin is in Michael's hotel room, and he comes upon Michael's girlfriend we see her getting dressed after just coming out of the shower. We see her take her robe off, then the camera cuts to Michael, and when it cuts back, she takes it off again.

Continuity mistake: During the scene in which the guy is bitten by the rattlesnake we see that the rattlesnake's top fangs pierce the guy just to the right hand side of his top lip. Then when the snake is pulled off and we see him lying on the floor, the bite marks are now in the centre of his cheek, and there are no bite marks for the lower fangs of the snake although they also pierced the guy's neck.

Continuity mistake: As Chance gets the shotgun from his uncle we see him holding it. He leans the gun to one side and then starts to blow all the dust off. As the camera angle changes, we see that the gun is no longer leaning to one side. Then when the camera angle changes again, the gun in once again leaning to one side.

Continuity mistake: When Randal has his ear cut off, we see blood on his sweater as he begins to stand up. He is then kicked into the doorframe. When he is pulled away from the doorframe and pushed towards the desk, we see that his sweater is free from blood. Then as he is lifted from the desk there's a large blood soaked stain. He is then slapped by Mr. Fouchon and we see that the stain is now even larger yet there's no blood trickling from his ear.

Continuity mistake: When Natasha goes to the police station to file a missing person's report we see the officer put her cake into the desk drawer. Once Natasha leaves we see the officer take the cake back out of the drawer and it now has noticeably more icing on it.

Continuity mistake: During the first fight scene we see Van Damme's character fighting the guys outside the diner. He moves onto the sidewalk to tackle a guy coming at him with a knife. He ducks and punches the guy in the stomach. They guy was less than a foot away but in the next shot we see the same guy running towards Van Damme from several feet.
