Corrected entry: Charles says when they are looking at the suits, that they have to wear them because they haven't mutated to endure g-force or being riddled by bullets. Yet somehow a deflected Walther PPK bullet, which is one of the smallest calibers out there, can go through the suit and still have enough power to paralyze Charles?

Friso94

Correction: The suits certainly are not all over bullet proof, and Magneto may very well have sped the bullet on its way, rather than merely deflecting it, giving it more oomph. The bullet didn't kill him at any rate, so I'd say the suit did its job.

Corrected entry: Howard Stark says that the shield of Rogers is made out of a ''completely vibration absorbing'' material. However, when Carter shoots at it, it has a very distinctive echo to it. Since sound is nothing but vibrating air, the shield is vibrating.

Friso94

Correction: Vibration absorbing doesn't mean there is no vibration, only that it is absorbed. In the same way shock absorbers on a car don't stop the shock of a pothole to the suspension, but absorbs and softens the jolt, vibration absorbing would soften the impact and mitigate the vibration.

Ultraviolet (2006)

Corrected entry: During the library scene, Violet has custom guns with purple muzzle flares. The shape of these flares are Biohazard symbols, a direct reference to Resident Evil, one of Jovovich's earlier movies. Resident Evil is known as Biohazard in Japan, the origin of the series.

Friso94

Correction: Seems kind of a reach. Unless there's some commentary on the issue by someone involved with the production of the film (and if there is, it ought to be cited in the entry) I'd say it's much more likely they're biohazard symbols because that's a "cool" shape for the flares to take.

Avatar (2009)

Corrected entry: The missiles Qaurritch and his men use in the final battle are completely useless. If they have to fire in line of sight, why are the missiles constantly curving and flying all over the place? Line of sight works, but only if the missiles fly in a straight line, otherwise, hitting your target is dumb luck.

Friso94

Correction: The missiles are flying around the place because of the magnetic properties pf the mountains. Notice the missiles were moving around fine when they took down home tree. Line of sight is just the best chance they have of hitting anything.

Sherlock Holmes (2009)

Corrected entry: Holmes' ''stun baton'' works multiple times without having to recharge. That is not how electricity works. If it has the ability to discharge, it will keep going until the charges between the device and the ground are equal, which would be after one time. And batteries that small didn't exist then.

Friso94

Correction: You suppose a lot knowing absolutely nothing about how this home made device of his works. A tazer can discharge multiple times without needing to recharge because it must be activated with a button press. Apparently there is a similar such activation mechanic on Holmes' baton.

Knight & Day (2010)

Corrected entry: Roy says that the Zephyr is the first perpetual energy source since the sun. The sun isn't perpetual, it's more like it has a nine billion year gastank.

Friso94

Correction: For most people, 9 billion years is plenty long enough to be considered perpetual. Roy's not a scientist.

The Fifth Element (1997)

Corrected entry: When Leeloo enters the Fhloston Paradise, we get a good shot of the view the oval windows have to offer. But isn't that where the Opera is supposed to be? That room is pretty high, and when Ruby and Korben enter the Opera, they first have to ascend a stair to get there. This is also visible when Korben leaves the Opera. (01:22:25 - 01:26:00)

Friso94

Correction: The atrium where Leeloo is greeted is connected to the docks. The opera hall is connected to the hotel, a different room altogether.

Transformers (2007)

Corrected entry: Lenoox wants to hide the Cube in the city. You don't have to be a four-star general to think that this is a bad idea. Cities have lots of civilians who won't keep their mouth shut when they see building sized robots trying to kill each other. Plus, you could end up killing hundreds of them. You would probably cause millions of dollars worth of damage if you turn a city into a war zone. Which he is expecting, since he brings heavy weaponry and is insistant on having the airforce around for support. He is even talking about making a stand.

Friso94

Correction: Lennox is in the thinking that it's going to be harder for the Decepticons to fight in a cramped city rather than out in the open, or at Hoover Dam. And you said it yourself, Lennox isn't a 4 star general, hes a field soldier used to thinking on the fly. Soldiers dont always have good ideas on battlefield, but just because they decided to fight in the city doenst make it a mistake.

2012 (2009)

Corrected entry: NASA has dubbed 2012 ''The most ridiculous disaster movie ever'', since such small particles emitted from the sun would have absolutely no effect on the Earth's core.

Friso94

Correction: From what I have read, it is indeed the most absurd movie, but not because of the SIZE of the particles, but the effect of them. The particles they say are changing, couldn't possibly change and "mutate" as they are said to in the movie, because they have no DNA or parts to be mutated, therefore they could not be changed by radiation and solar flares from the sun.

Kimberly Mason

Corrected entry: When underneath the meat locker, Leo tries to touch Frenzy's head, which Simmons took form the Hoover Dam. Simmons stops him by saying that it is still radio active. In the first film, he takes a reading of Sam after two days after buying Bumblebee, and it shows fourteen rads. After two years, Sam would be long dead if he kept using Bumblebee as a car, or even keep it near him in the garage. Simmons' Geiger counter also gives out a reading when Optimus first meets Simmons, so it's not just Frenzy who is radioactive.

Friso94

Correction: I'm confused. What is the mistake? We know all Transformers emit some form of radiation. It was pointed out in the first movie. We also know it can be transferred to anything nearby, biological and non-biological. If it is deadly then they all would have worn bio-suits to Sam's house. I guess it is not harmful to humans.

Hot Fuzz (2007)

Corrected entry: The explosion at the end of the movie, powerful enough to blow up an entire building would definitely be strong enough to kill everyone inside of that building -- especially Sergeant Angel himself, who is standing no more than ten feet away from the blast, without any form of protective clothing.

Friso94

Correction: Explosions are capricious about their destruction. People have survived standing right next to them. (Deafened and naked, but still survived.).

Captain Defenestrator

Corrected entry: In the scene in the graveyard, the group is attacked by corpses coming from underground. One of the shots shows a skull riddled with maggots. A zombie might be a zombie, but they still need muscles to move. If a face has decayed that far, there wouldn't be any muscles left.

Friso94

Correction: Just because a zombie's face has fully decayed, that doesn't mean that their entire body has. The zombies that attack the group are all fully clothed, therefore we aren't able to tell how far their bodies have deteriorated.

THGhost

Corrected entry: When Alice rams her bike trough the church window, her headlight is on. And in the shot just before she hits the Licker, it still is. But in the shot where she actually rams it away, her light is all of a sudden off. It didn't break, because in the shot where she starts her turn, it is still intact.

Friso94

Correction: The damage doesn't need to be visible for a headlight to cease functioning.
