Revealing mistake: During the Toon Patrol chase, before the cab enters the alleyway there's a wide shot of the cab making a fast turn. Valiant has his head down, with his hat covering his face and his body totally motionless, opposite to what he looks like in the close-ups where he is grabbing the steering wheel, his head up and controlling the car, thus revealing that the actor was replaced by a dummy in some of the shots. Revealing mistake: When Barbara is smashing the car, her SUV is standing on a very obvious ramp covered with grass.

Revealing mistake: All the footage of the missiles being launched is of a poor quality and grainy, which is inconsistent with the good quality of the rest of the shots, revealing that it's stock footage.

Revealing mistake: Superman has just saved Jimmy at the dam and is holding him in the air. Jimmy's fringe is standing up thanks to some hair fixer to achieve the effect of wind blowing (though it's a green screen effect). When Superman sets him on the floor his hair remains up giving away the trick, until the angle changes and it looks all combed and nice.

Revealing mistake: Everett talks to Julie at night by the bus stop and the snow flakes stay on his hair forever, revealing it's paper or similar material.

Revealing mistake: Uhl talks about Eisenheim's childhood, and about the vanishing tree. Problem is that not only the tree disappears, but also his very own shadow, making him look as if he's floating in a landscape, thus giving away the green screen effect. (00:06:50)

Revealing mistake: When Langdon and Victoria walk towards the Pantheon, the first two angles show them walking alone with some stunt-women behind. But in the third angle, a couple of seconds later, a huge line of people appears, lining perfectly in the back, watching the camera. Obviously a group of real tourists standing behind a security line watching the shooting.

Revealing mistake: When the reporters say that the second black smoke is showing, an aerial panning shot of the Vatican is shown, yet the smoke remains fix as if it were a painting.

Revealing mistake: During the final shooting, a bullet hits a lamp post, causing a spark. A grey tape glued over the original metal surface is noticeable to help produce the spark.
