The treasure is in the planet's core and the pirates find it. A trap is set off which nearly kills Jim, who is saved by Silver. Silver and Jim escape to the Legacy and open the portal to the Montressor Spaceport. Silver leaves but gives Jim Morph and some money to rebuild the Benbow Inn.
