Simone

Trivia: Winona Ryder's onerous contractual stipulation about her being provided a bowl of Mike 'n' Ikes with the cherry ones removed was based on the rock band Van Halen's actual contract, which contained a similar clause about green M&Ms. Its purpose was to ensure that the rest of the contract would be followed to the letter.

Trivia: All of the other actors that Simone works with in her films have computer names. They are named Mac, Apple, Hewlett, Epson, and there are several others. You can especially see this on the DVD in the deleted scene "Sunset Uncut".

Trivia: References to "Pygmalion" - both the Greek myth and the G.B. Shaw play which became "My Fair Lady" - occur in "Simone." There is a brief shot of a famous painting of Pygmalion and his "creation" Galatea. The inventor of the "Simone" computer program is named Hank - a nickname for Henry (Higgins?). And Viktor chooses Audrey Hepburn as the "voice" for Simone. Ms. Hepburn appeared as Eliza Doolittle in the film "My Fair Lady."

Trivia: The shot of the satellite out of the earth was also used in the movie "Enemy Of The State" with Will Smith.

Trivia: There's a little something after the credits.

Continuity mistake: When Viktor is talking to Simone, sipping his Jack Daniels he sets it down and the label is pointing away from him - the next shot the label is pointing towards him.

Question: Many people believe that Simone is a real person. But what about the actors that work with her? Clearly, they would know that Simone is not a real person but an A.I., since she's never actually in any scenes with them, and the actors themselves would say they never actually met her.
