Plot hole: When the Grundel explodes near the end, Rowan looks out the window to see Uber Jason floating towards the rescue shuttle, only to be grabbed by Brodski who happens to fly sideways at a high rate of speed. Now provided it's feasible that Uber Jason can survive an immense explosion, how Brodski not only survived the explosion but managed to wind up away from the spaceship and far enough off to the right so as to catch Jason in mid-space is beyond me. (01:22:15)

Continuity mistake: When the android steps up to fight Jason the first time, he throws his machete at her and hits her square in the chest. For the rest of the movie there is no hole in her jumpsuit. (01:03:00)

Plot hole: When the film opens, Jason is bound and restrained in an empty room. After killing the six security guards and appearing in the hallway, he chases after Rowan with a machete. Where'd he get this? All the guards had guns, and the rest of the room was completely barren. [Apparently, there was a cut scene (unfortunately deleted scenes weren't included on the DVD) showing Rowan with a box of Crystal Lake newspaper clippings and other Jason material/evidence, and his machete was one of the items in the box. Still a mistake due to the empty room (ropey editing), but that's the reason.] (00:06:00)

Factual error: Rowan has been frozen since at least 2010 because that's when the Cryo machine was made. The android says she has been out for 4.55 centuries. With it being 2455 it would be 4.45 centuries. Pretty simple mathematical mistake for a robot. (00:16:20)

Factual error: When Jason is outside the ship and punches the hole to get back inside, the crew rush to the door and close it because the lack of pressure is causing them to be sucked out of the ship. They go through several rooms and close multiple doors. Yet when Jason rips through the final door, there's no sudden rush of air, no loss of cabin pressure, even though there would be a continuous path to the broken outer wall of the ship. Continuity mistake: After Kay-Em blasts Jason's leg off, in following shots the position of the leg differs. (01:05:00)

Mortug

Continuity mistake: In one shot we see the thick green blood dripping off of the autopsy table which Jason is on, and there is plenty of blood running down the side. In later shots when Adrienne turns around and looks at the table, the amount of blood dripping down the side of the table has decreased, and the amount changes in following shots as well. (00:26:30 - 00:28:35)

Continuity mistake: When Adrienne removes Jason's mask she pulls the mask and its straps away. When it cuts the mask is suddenly right above Jason's face and the straps are hanging over his face. (00:25:35)

Mortug

Continuity mistake: When Dallas and Azrael come out of the VR game, the wide shot shows that they are holding the VR controls in their hands. When it cuts to a close-up of Azrael, the control is suddenly on the ground. (00:36:35)

Continuity mistake: When Kay-Em is shown firing at Jason with the two pistols her arms are straight out in front of her, but in the shot from below her elbows are bent and she's firing from waist height. In the next shot, her arms have returned to being straight out. (01:03:45)

Continuity mistake: When the android kills Jason she throws the machete into him. Later when the healing ants are trying to rebuild Jason and start searching for synthetic cellular replacement, in the wide shot you can see the machete no longer sticks out of his body. (01:05:25 - 01:10:05)

Mortug

Continuity mistake: When Azreal picks up the frozen coffee cup, it gets stuck to his hand. When he first picks it up, it is attached to his hand straight up and down, but in the next few shots, it is crooked. (00:12:00)

Continuity mistake: After Jason throws his machete through Kay-Em, you can see behind Jason there is a tunnel, which they are both outside of. When Kay-Em starts kicking him they are both halfway through the tunnel. (01:03:40)

Revealing mistake: When Uber-Jason punches off Kay-Em's head, you can see that it is already rolling off her shoulders before he hits her. (01:11:10)

Sven: What do we do with this guy?
Brodski: I promised the professor that we take this guy alive. After you blow him all to hell, put one in his leg so we can tell the professor we tried.

Trivia: At one point, Rowan says about the android Kay-Em 14, 'She seems so real.' This phrase would be reversed on the TV show Andromeda, as Lexa Doig plays an android, while Lisa Ryder is human. (00:32:35)

Question: Everyone keeps saying Jason has the power of regeneration. That's why he has human fingers, hair, beard, etc. However that does not explain why his face does not get better. I know his face was deformed when he was a child which explains his deformity. However every time his mask is taken off, it still looks like the face of a dead guy. His face never becomes any more human like the rest of his body. Can anybody explain how his supposed "regeneration" fits into this?

Answer: Jason wasn't deformed as a child. Jason was deformed at birth. His regeneration can't fix anything better then it already was, just to where it was to begin with, therefore since his face was always deformed it can't be fixed better than its deformed state. If half his head is blown up it will regenerate, but only as far as the deformed state.
