Continuity mistake: The view from the (unseen) car driving toward the distant house on a hill showed fog well above the pine trees, but when the car/limo got to the house/mansion (10 seconds later), there was no fog. (00:02:17)
Continuity mistake: When the waiter puts Lily's "Cleopatra Special" plate in front of her, the long, white, curved ingredients (bean sprouts?) stick upward across her plate, but none are visible or sticking out in alternating views of her plate. (00:08:30)
Revealing mistake: The views to the right and left of the truck on the road did not flow in the manner expected if they were actually there (as opposed to using a green screen). Also, as soon as a "stop" sign could be seen to the right, the camera shifted to the driver, who kept driving as though the stop sign was not there. The structures to the right of the truck were blue but became white when the camera shifted to a front view (not using a green screen). (00:01:20)
Continuity mistake: Before Eamon hung his jacket and hat on the nails, there were three nails close together near the right side of the board. When he was hanging his jacket and hat, there were only two nails, which appeared to have more distance between them. When the camera shifted, there were a couple nails protruding to the left of the hat. The single nail that was on the far left side of the board turned into two nails. (00:04:38)
Continuity mistake: The patch of dirt/mud that Briggs had on the left side of his face near his eye when he woke up tied to a chair in Gus' barn disappeared and reappeared (in a different shape) a few times (e.g, when he knocked over his chair, when he stood up, and when he was inside Gus' house). Revealing mistake: The guy with the sunglasses changes from behind and in front of shots. (00:09:46 - 00:10:15)
Other mistake: Visser was face-to-face with Omar when she shot him in the neck (looked more like it would be in his mouth before the camera shift) yet she did not get any blood splatter on her shooting hand, face, or clothes. There also wasn't much blood on Omar considering he was hit with a near-contact if not actual contact shot. (00:45:41 - 00:47:12)
Continuity mistake: The clock on the wall at Pee Wee's Pawn Shop advanced from about 12:00 to 12:05 when Frank was talking to Jerry, but it was back to around 12:01 after a few camera shifts. (00:05:59 - 00:06:24)
Continuity mistake: Honor's mother comes into the room and the laptop is not visible where it should be, behind Honor near the edge of the bed. Honor's mother leaves, and the laptop is visible again. (00:52:48 - 00:53:26)
Revealing mistake: Jimmy's [Matthew Lawrence] glass of cola on the table is filled to a level slightly above the groove (mortar joint) in the cement block wall. The next front view shows the top of Jimmy's glass slightly above the same groove and the level of cola is about 2" below the groove. A little later, the level of cola in the glass is like it was earlier - slightly above the groove. A cement block wall is stationary and nobody raised or lowered the table; use of a green screen can explain the anomaly. (00:08:05 - 00:08:41)
Other mistake: When Tess says good night to Keith, the lights in the bedroom are on, but the switch is down (off position) but when she wakes up in the middle of the night, the lights are off and the switch is still down. We see a lamp on the same side as the switch but even if she turned it off manually, being plugged into that AC outlet would mean the lamp would probably be off based on the switch. If the switch was up in both shots, it would be different.
Continuity mistake: Although Adeline has her mouth to the ground (eating grass), her head is suddenly upright and still in a few views of Kay or Terry. The most noticeable sudden change in Adeline's head being upright occurs right after Adam hugs her. (00:34:34 - 00:35:00)
Continuity mistake: The amount of snow accumulated on the chalet's wraparound porch railing was higher when looking outside compared to external views, such as when Emily was outside talking on the phone with Becca. (00:13:35 - 00:15:05)
Continuity mistake: The "Santa" carrying the Molotov Cocktail walked up the steps and past the decorated handrail, but he was standing within the length of the handrail (about mid-way) when the camera shifted from the right-rear to left-rear side. (00:02:40)
Deliberate mistake: While roasting marshmallows, Henry's marshmallow caught on fire with the flame shooting about 6", then a foot+ high. A marshmallow subjected to such intense heat/flame for many seconds would not be stuck to the stick and stay stuck with repeated forceful flicking or "whipping" of the stick like Henry did. When the marshmallow finally flew off the stick and landed on a camper's head (higher than would be expected), it would be small/hard/charred, not large and still soft/white in the middle. (00:35:03)
Continuity mistake: In the very last scene when Bo is hugging Stanley before the game it reveals his "Never Back Down" tree tattoo on his lower left arm. Yet right after in the closing credits and presumably depicting that same game it showed his left arm after taking a shot with the tattoo removed.
Continuity mistake: The sky (sun versus clouds and color - blue, white, or gray) changes frequently during the few minutes when Lara is leaving the site until she returns to retrieve her bag. Before she falls into the hole, the sun is shown near the horizon, about to set, but the sun is shining on her in the hole. A setting sun would not be able to emit rays into a distant hole. Factual error: Although the helium balloons moved some of the time, they did not move other times when they should have. The balloons next to Kim moved when Orlando came in the door and when she walked out the kitchen and stood next to them, but later did not. The helium balloons near the window did not move when Orlando walked by, but they did move when he backtracked. The red balloons on the chair did not move, but - even if not helium-filled - should have moved when Orlando walked past them. (00:02:32)
Continuity mistake: Jail cells have a rectangular slot with an outward flat extension for setting down food trays. The guard checks cells after "lights out" and there are no flat extensions for trays. (00:23:50 - 00:24:35)
Continuity mistake: While the 2 main characters are playing pool the balls keep changing position and so does the cue chalk. (00:14:00 - 00:17:00)
