Other mistake: When Pistachio is tripped and the spaghetti dinners fall on four customers heads, there is one man with spaghetti hanging all down his face. This man wears glasses, and somehow the spaghetti is hanging behind his glasses, instead over hanging over them. (00:09:50)
Other mistake: When Richard is at the babysitters he empties an Erector set can but it contains Lincoln Logs. Erector sets came in metal boxes, not cans like Lincoln Logs.
Other mistake: In the scene in the KNX broadcast studio, a shot from the engineer's point-of-view shows VU meters with their needles not moving, even though Bob Crane is talking.
Other mistake: The "roach" Tim and Francis were to share with the magazine stand man had a length about equal to the width of the man's index finger. The man was able to hold it and take a drag without burning his fingers, but it would have been impossible for Tim and/or Francis to do the same - yet they managed to "get high."
Other mistake: She's holding a Beretta M1951 9mm single action semi-automatic handgun equipped with a suppressor. She takes a shot, and the hammer is full forward. For the gun to fire the hammer has to be all the way to the rear, and after it's fired, the slide would eject the spent cartridge and grab a new one and the hammer would be to the rear. It's not a cowboy revolver where the hammer has to be cocked every time to fire. (00:54:00)
Other mistake: When Emery awakens from his nightmare his clock reads 1:20 a.m. But in the following shot, a grandfather clock in the hallway strikes 2am, but its hands are at 12:00 am.
Other mistake: Unless there's something I'm missing, Lee, while sitting in that chair peeing, it couldn't possibly go down the side to her left. It'd go down the front.
Other mistake: The 4 kids just snuck into a party. Some jocks begin making fun of Ben, calling him "the chinese Jordan." Daric walking off to check on their puking friend bumps into one of them on purpose. During this sequence, notice that one of the guys is holding a paper cup completely empty just for show, and in the reverse shot it even flips suddenly. (00:37:25)
Other mistake: Dad has a long drive home, travelling through the mountains during a snowstorm. Dad pulls into the driveway and his truck is clean, with no splash marks. (01:12:05 - 01:14:35)
Other mistake: In the scene where Mark Scott is arriving back from being taken into custody by Two River Bend police, the unit's emergency number is a different one, not 9-1-1.
Other mistake: Eleanor is eating a corn dog with a fork at the ice rink snack bar. Corn dogs are not listed on the menu though.
Other mistake: There's no reason for Jane and Will to rendezvous at a small inn given she's got a big hotel suite.
