Continuity mistake: When Bill and Ralph are returned to Earth they show Pam the instruction book. Pam is wearing pink nail polish, but in the closeup as she opens the book and sees the alien writing Pam's fingernails don't have nail polish.(00:32:20)
Continuity mistake: When Pam, Ralph, and Bill are in the wiener wagon, Bill pulls over and uses the curbside telephone to call Phillips. Bill is wearing a grey jacket and white tee shirt underneath, but as Bill hangs up the phone in the closeup the reflection on the pay telephone's chrome surface shows someone who is wearing a short-sleeve light blue shirt.(00:34:45)
Visible crew/equipment: When Ralph shakes off Bill's guns from the bedspread he tells Bill that he's gone commandeer crazy, then as Bill walks toward the gun pieces on the floor we can see the reflection of the film crew in the mirror.(00:03:30)
Continuity mistake: While King's ranch hands are illegally gathering up the mustangs, Matt gets on the walkie talkie to tell others to go after the black stallion, then when two of the men on horseback chase the stallion the horses they're riding change during this scene - note the white facial markings and coat.(00:04:15)
Continuity mistake: The small horse trailer hitched up to the back of Ralph and Pam's station wagon has the license plate number, T-479E5, which is visible a few times, then when Ralph is on King's property he gets a vision of Desperado's location, and just as Ralph does his vanishing thing, one of King's horse trailers has the same license plate with the number, T-479E5.(00:13:50 - 00:33:50)
Visible crew/equipment: While Ralph and Pam are watching the mustangs Ralph starts taking pictures, then when Pam points to the black stallion, in the first shot of that beautiful stallion the animal trainer can be seen hiding behind the bush.(00:02:40)
Continuity mistake: After Ralph stops two of King's ranch hands from getting Desperado, Ralph is beaten up and left lying on the ground, then just as Desperado nudges Ralph awake Ralph's shirt is entirely different in this shot. Also, note the horse's feed on the ground under Ralph, used to keep the horse's attention so it appears to be nudging Ralph.(00:05:45)
Revealing mistake: When Ralph picks up the guy who was stealing mustangs and takes off with him over his shoulder, while they're in the air the cushion under Ralph is visible in the closeups.(00:18:00)
Visible crew/equipment: After Ralph walks into his house with Bill and Dak, when Bill explains to Pam that Dak will be spending the night, the T-mark is visible on the floor in front of Bill.(00:31:05)
Trivia: When Woody thinks the toys who were in the trash bag are being crushed at the back of the garbage truck, the truck's license plate number is RM237. Then later, when Woody goes back to Sunnyside to rescue his friends, Chatter Telephone warns him about the Monkey who is the "eye in the sky" while watching the security monitors, and in a couple of shots of those monitors there's a box at the right side of the table which has a very distinctive design. Both are nods to the movie The Shining.(00:56:15)
Continuity mistake: When Kirk and Mara are in the transporter room for intraship beaming, Kirk is wearing his usual Starfleet boots with heels, but while Kirk and Kang are fighting Kirk is wearing flat bottom boots.(00:43:25)
Deliberate mistake: While Miranda is with Kollos, McCoy tells Kirk that he didn't reveal her secret because he respects her privacy, then when Miranda steps out of the room and concedes to obey, the next closeup of Kirk is a flipped shot.(00:34:05)
Continuity mistake: While Les is on-air after the first few turkeys have been dropped, in the wide shot of Johnny, Bailey, Venus, and Andy inside the studio, the record on the turntable has a brown label as Les mentions the Hindenburg tragedy and cuts out. In Johnny's closeup he closes with his "bombed with live turkeys" mall update. Then back to a wide shot, and the record on the turntable now has a white label, even though it has not been touched.(00:24:15)
Visible crew/equipment: After Kirk and Tracey have fought, Sulu and two others beam down armed with phasers, and when Kirk tells Leslie to free McCoy and Spock, two white tape marks are visible on the floor in front of the actors.(00:45:20)
Continuity mistake: When Kirk and McCoy join Spock and Galloway on Exeter's bridge, McCoy kneels down and uses his med tricorder with its strap crossed over his shoulder, but in McCoy's closeup the strap is gone, then next shot the strap is once again over McCoy's shoulder.(00:04:25)
Deliberate mistake: When Spock is brought to the Yang ceremony to join Kirk and McCoy, after Spock responds that although he is weak their "need for departure is even more immediate," the very next closeup of Kirk is a flipped shot.(00:34:15)
Deliberate mistake: While Luke hears Ben's voice telling him to let go, Vader says, "The Force is strong with this one," and in the following wide shot as they say Luke's computer is turned off, the dent on C-3PO's head is on his right side instead of his left, revealing a flipped shot.(01:55:50)
Continuity mistake: While Luke climbs the ladder to get into the X-wing's cockpit he asks R2 if the little droid is okay, then as Luke steps up he's holding his gloves in his right hand, but it cuts to the next shot as Luke leaps into the cockpit and the gloves are now suddenly grasped in his left hand.(01:43:50)
Deliberate mistake: During the scenes of the Star Destroyer attacking Tantive IV, and also when the stormtroopers board the ship, the Alderaanian consular security force are wearing helmets with an attached communications device at their left, but in a few flipped shots the devices are at their right side of the helmets.(00:02:35)
