Trivia: When the therapist is watching TV shortly before he is killed, there's a VHS box sitting next to his TV labeled "Dead Meat." This is a reference to the YouTube channel "Dead Meat," in which husband and wife duo James A. Janisse and Chelsea Rebecca do reviews and podcasts on horror movies and media. They're friends with the directors and also had a cameo in "Scream (2022)."

Trivia: Bill Moseley got the role of Chop-Top because he made a parody short film of the original "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre". Moseley's film was called "The Texas Chainsaw Manicure". Series co-creator Tobe Hooper saw the short and loved it so much that he cast Moseley in a major part when "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2" went into production.

Trivia: Tobe Hooper played up the black comedy in this sequel as he felt that all the dark humor in the original had been ignored by audiences due to the film's shocking content. He wanted to make sure that audiences knew the film was meant to be scary AND funny.

Series creator Don Mancini has stated that if he comes up with a good scene that doesn't quite fit one Chucky movie, he always keeps it written down because there's a very good chance it could be used in a later sequel.

Trivia: In an eerie example of life sort of imitating art, Ed Gale, an actor with dwarfism who doubled as Chucky in a couple of shots in the first few of the "Child's Play" movies (in addition to playing the titular character in "Howard the Duck"), was caught by an online sex predator hunting group in a sting operation in 2023.

(And having a very young-looking face.)

Trivia: When Frank and Mac are on the ship, you can see a short woman in sunglasses dancing near Frank in a few shots. If you're familiar with internet culture, you might recognize her as Rosanna Pansino, a famous YouTuber. (Though here she's made up to resemble "Snooki" from the show "Jersey Shore"). Pansino is known for her nerd-themed cooking show "Nerdy Nummies," silly challenge videos, and product reviews. She's a huge Danny DeVito fan and managed to score a role as an extra on this episode.

Trivia: John Franklin, who plays the villainous Isaac, was actually a full-grown man in his mid-20s. He had a growth hormone deficiency when he was growing up, and as a result, he never grew taller than 5' and had a slightly lighter voice. This made him perfect for the role as he looked and sounded the part, and also didn't have to deal with the restrictions that come with child labour laws.

Trivia: Some supporters of the film attempted to spread misinformation by claiming that theatres were purposely cancelling and "sabotaging" shows in an attempt to "silence" it due to its religious nature and associations with the Q-Anon movement. However, the studio behind the film stated that these stories were untrue.

Trivia: The film uses a "pay it forward" campaign in which audiences could pay for a ticket to be donated and claimed by another person. Shortly after its release, there were reports that many people attended screenings that were labelled as sold-out or nearly sold-out, only for there to be many empty seats in the theatre. This has called the film's box office success into question, as many believe its gross was artificially padded by people over-buying "pay it forward" tickets that were never claimed.

Trivia: Paul Reubens' final scripted film/television performances as his iconic character Pee-Wee Herman before he tragically passed away from cancer in 2023.

Trivia: Paul Reubens revealed that, in addition to old makeup tricks, digital effects were used to de-age him for the film, to make him look more like he did in the previous films. Reubens remarked that when he was told how expensive the de-aging effects were during post-production, he realised it would have actually been significantly cheaper for him to have just gotten extensive plastic surgery to make himself look younger before filming.

Trivia: Director Christopher Nolan usually prefers using practical effects when possible. For the scene where the nuclear bomb is tested, a more manageably-sized explosion was created by a pyrotechnics team. The explosion was actually fairly close to the actors, but was filmed at specific camera angles to make it seem further away and thus bigger (a technique called "forced perspective"). Super-slow-motion was also utilized, as it subconsciously creates the illusion of a larger scale.

Trivia: In the original video game, the town of Silent Hill is getting unseasonable snow. However, the film reinterpreted the snow as ash. This caused a "Mandela Effect", where people began to mistakenly think that the snow in the original game was also ash. This misconception became so widespread, many people actually argued with the creators about it online and tried to explain their own game to them. (The same goes for the film using the town of Centralia as inspiration, which the game didn't.)

Trivia: The characters Heather and Josh, originally had a much more antagonistic relationship during filming, much like Heather and Mike do in the final film. However, most of Heather and Josh's arguments were cut during editing because the directors felt it came across as too mean-spirited to have both men constantly "ganging up" on Heather and arguing with her.
