Hellraiser (1987)

Audio problem: When Chatterer appears and shoves Frank back in the attic, we get a closeup of his teeth chattering, but when it cuts to a wideshot, he's no longer doing it. You could argue that he just stopped as the camera cut (a little flimsy, but arguably a valid correction), but the real issue? They continue to play the "chattering" sound effect for about a second after he stops even though his teeth are no longer moving. They try to mask it by fading it out quickly... but it makes the moment feel wonky.

Hellraiser (1987)

Audio problem: When Steve and the nurse discover Kirsty has fled the hospital, their lines don't quite match their lip movements when they are on-screen. Especially when Steve says "Maybe she's gone back to..." (Several characters were redubbed with American accents in post, which may explain the discrepancy). (01:10:04)

Hellraiser (1987)

Audio problem: When Julia and Frank are talking after Kirsty first encounters the cenobites, if you look closely, Frank's words don't quite match his lip movements a few times. It's especially noticeable when he snaps out "What I care about is a new skin!," which doesn't match in the slightest. (01:09:15)

Hellraiser (1987)

Audio problem: When Steve says "What?" to Kirsty at the pet-store, it's pretty painfully obvious that the line was dubbed in during post. The audio is much more loudly spoken than he appears to be speaking. (Several characters were redubbed with American accents in post. Presumably this is the reason for the inconsistency). (00:45:33)

Audio problem: When the cranky lady at the pet-store demands "Where's the manager?!," the audio and her lips don't quite match.

Hellraiser (1987)

Audio problem: When the moving man says "That your daughter?" to Larry, the audio doesn't match the lip movements in the slightest, revealing the line was dubbed. (Several characters were redubbed with American accents in post. Presumably this is the reason for the inconsistency).

Hellraiser (1987)

Audio problem: When Kirsty first encounters Frank, he says "It's Frank! It's uncle Frank!" When he says "uncle Frank," the audio and his lip-movements don't quite match.

Hellraiser (1987)

Audio problem: When Kirsty is flirty with Steve at dinner and he says "So lay down," the audio doesn't QUITE match his lip movements. (Several characters were redubbed with American accents in post. Presumably this is the reason for the inconsistency).

Hellraiser (1987)

Audio problem: When Kirsty enters the house and the moving man says "My lucky day!" his words don't quite match the lip movements, making it obvious the line was dubbed in post.

Hellraiser (1987)

Audio problem: When the unnamed Asian man sells Frank the box at the beginning, watch when he says the line "it always was." The words don't quite match the lip movements, revealing the line was looped in post.

Angel - S1-E7

Audio problem: At the beginning of the episode at the Bronze, when Buffy gets up to go and Willow tries to get Buffy to stay, Xander suggests they can dance. But his mouth movements don't match the words when he says "Eh, yeah, it's early..." (His head is turned away from camera, but you can see the side of his mouth, and he's saying something else).

Teacher's Pet - S1-E4

Audio problem: When Xander is talking to Blaine in the cell, Blaine is explaining what Miss French/She-Mantis does. At one point Blaine says "She ties you up, " but his mouth doesn't match the words at all. His mouth and the words match for every other line, so I'm assuming they decided to add that line in post.

Teacher's Pet - S1-E4

Audio problem: After the opening credits, we see a band playing in the Bronze. The lead singer's mouth doesn't seem to 100% match what he's saying. It's mostly right, but just seems a little "off." (Ex. There's a few very brief moments where individual syllables seem to not match, etc.) It's very clear he's simply lip-syncing to a pre-recorded track.

Game Night (2018)

Audio problem: When Max is biting down on the squeaky toy during the bullet extraction scene, the way the toy squeaks doesn't really "match" with his biting. Those types of toys wouldn't let out comically long squeaks like that from a single bite down. (Obviously it was exaggerated for comedic effect).

Game Night (2018)

Audio problem: When Brooks and Max trade places during game night and Brooks taunts Max by calling him "Pretzel-boy," watch closely... Brooks' mouth isn't moving, revealing the line was added in post.

Audio problem: Right as Duncan leaps into the "chain room" in the final fight, he lets out a light "Ugh!" sound. Then, about 5-10 seconds later, when Duncan surprises Kell and kicks him... Kell makes the EXACT same "Ugh!" sound effect.

The Pack - S1-E6

Audio problem: After Buffy catches the pig in the hallway, Principal Flutie tries to take him back. The pig squeals, making Flutie back up. However, it's painfully obvious that the pig isn't actually making the squeal and that it's just added in post. The pig looks completely calm and happy in Buffy's arms, it doesn't wriggle at all, and if you look closely, you can even see that its mouth doesn't move in the slightest. It's about as far away from squealing as possible.

Welcome To The Hellmouth (1) - S1-E1

Audio problem: When Buffy meets Angel, when she says the line "What I want is to be left alone!" and Angel replies "You really think that's an option anymore?" pay attention. Buffy's last few words don't quite match her lip movements, and Angel's lips don't seem to be moving at all for his line. The audio looping is a little sloppy. This is better seen in the brighter HD remaster, but is also noticeable in the original, darker standard definition master.

Audio problem: When William reveals himself as the killer, he asks Zeke to be his partner. When Zeke says "I'm in," in a wide-shot, if you look closely, his mouth doesn't move, revealing the line was added in post.

TedStixon

Audio problem: When Zeke is introduced and talking about Forrest Gump, he says the line "He beat China in ping-pong!" But if you look close, his mouth movements don't match the line. The same thing happens later in the scene when he mutters "f**k outta here, man."
