Napoleon Solo: So, my offer is, come with me now and be at a chic little hotel in West Berlin in less than an hour. Or, stay here and spend the night with the Russians, hanging from a pipe and having your toenails removed.

The Man from U.N.C.L.E. (2015)
Factual error: The whole computer disc thing is extremely unrealistic. If Russia and the US only suspected Vinciguerra was behind Teller's abduction and had not infiltrated yet, how would they have any idea how the research data was stored, and how would they have an example of the media used? As for the size of the media, let's remember this was 1963. Even two years later, magnetic disc storage was still in its infancy. The most advanced computer storage drives with a capacity of 5mb were the size of a small refrigerator and weighed almost half a ton (e.g., the IBM 2311). Not exactly something you could carry around in your pocket.

The Man from U.N.C.L.E. (2015)
Character mistake: When Gaby's car becomes wedged between two buildings, she says, "Good plan. All we have to do is get over two twenty-foot walls and a minefield." While minimal backstory is given, I think it reasonable to assume that she has lived in what was East Germany all her life. It is thus highly unlikely that she would express a measurement in English units (being bilingual doesn't mean you automatically convert measurements). She would have said something like "six meters."

The Man from U.N.C.L.E. (2015)
Other mistake: During the "escape from East Berlin" sequence, Kuryakin fires a single shot at Gaby's car. Aside from the extremely unlikely possibility of hitting anything like a tire with a handgun from more than half a block away, we see just her left rear tire deflated and shredding off the rim. For the rest of the sequence, sparks fly from both rear wheels as she and Solo avoid capture.

The Man from U.N.C.L.E. (2015)
Continuity mistake: After Solo puts the bracelet he lifted from the Contessa on Victoria's wrist, he reveals to her the "Etruscan" gold chain necklace which, according to the flashback, he lifted when he "fell" against her. The actual scene, however, shows her wearing the necklace as she walks away.

The Man from U.N.C.L.E. (2015)
Continuity mistake: When Solo first bumps into Waverly at the party, he looks over his left shoulder as he says, "I beg your pardon." Later, when they are introduced, the flashback has him looking over his right shoulder.

The Big Bang Theory (2007)
The Euclid Alternative - S2-E5
Question: Though it comes up in other episodes as well, this one is focused on Sheldon needing a ride everywhere he goes because he can't drive, not to mention his not being welcome on the bus. Of course, this story element would be nonexistent if there was a simple answer, but it does beg the question: Does Pasadena not have taxicabs?
Answer: Sheldon DID finally use a taxi when going to the airport to see and propose to Amy in New Jersey.

Ant-Man (2015)
Factual error: As they are heading back to the city, the scene switches back and forth from Luis to Scott. There is nothing but shrubbery visible through the window to Scott's right, but suddenly, there are two cuts in which they appear to be very close to an unidentified bridge. The closing shot on the scene shows the bridge to still be way off in the distance. The bridge would not have been off to their right if they were still approaching from the north.

Ant-Man (2015)
Question: Scott throws discs which enlarge/shrink whatever they hit, except when he throws them at Darren in Cassie's bedroom. Darren is able to bat them away. One hits an ant, the other the train engine, both of which enlarge. Why didn't Darren enlarge when he touched the discs?
Chosen answer: I can assume it was because they didn't attach, just touched.

Ant-Man (2015)
Question: As Kurt is loading the hack to deactivate the laser grid, Paxton and his partner are banging on the van, demanding that Kurt and Dave come out. Just as the program finishes loading, the cops open the door and drag them out. If the van was locked, how did they open the door? If It wasn't locked, why did it take so long to just open the door?
Chosen answer: They could have opened it with a crowbar or a Jaws of Life. (Likely the crowbar, since we didn't hear metal rending).

Ant-Man (2015)
Factual error: In order to enter the Pym Tech building, they drop the pressure in the water main and Scott floats in on a raft of fire ants. Getting into it the supply line would mean they have to enter from the municipal main, which would be under full pressure. Even with reduced pressure, the interior pipe would still be full of water. Additionally, Scott would not be able to enter through a faucet unless someone had left it running (the valve would be closed).

The Zarnecki Incursion - S4-E19
Character mistake: As they drive to Todd Zarnecki's to confront him, Sheldon says, "I almost feel sorry for the poor fool, sitting in his split-level suburban ranch..." Architecturally, split-level (technically three levels joined by half flights of stairs) and ranch (single level) are separate and distinct designs. There is no "fusion" of the two. I can't help but think Sheldon would have corrected anyone who said the same thing.
Suggested correction: Actually the term "split level ranch" is used to describe a house that has one full floor above ground and a partial lower level, vs the traditional split level house which has a full floor above ground, a second partial floor and a partial lower level.

Ant-Man (2015)
Continuity mistake: After getting fired from Baskin-Robbins, Scott goes "home" to the Milgrom Hotel. As he approaches, there is a bicycle chained to a parking meter in front of the hotel; it is also visible in the close shot through the gate from inside. In the long inside shot from down the hall as Scott actually enters, the bike is gone.

The Big Bang Theory (2007)
The Big Bran Hypothesis - S1-E2
Character mistake: In his argument with Leonard regarding Superman's ability to fly, Sheldon states that in Superman 1, Lois Lane is two feet off the ground when Superman catches her as she falls from the helicopter. Not so. Superman catches Lois at least ten stories up. Additionally, both Penny and Sheldon say Superman "swoops down" to save Lois. Penny can be forgiven, but Sheldon would know better: Superman flies UP from ground level to catch Lois. (00:02:30)

The Big Bang Theory (2007)
Continuity mistake: In "The Luminous Fish Effect" (S1E04) Sheldon tells Penny he weighs 140 pounds. In "The Porkchop Indeterminacy" (S1E16), he tells his sister he weighs 165. 25lbs difference would be a noticeable change, but he looks the same.
Suggested correction: Lying to Penny but not to his sister, not inconsistent with the characters and his relationships.

The Flaming Spittoon Acquisition - S5-E10
Factual error: Sheldon and Amy have agreed to call each other "boyfriend" and "girlfriend." Sheldon suggests she should peruse the new relationship agreement while he sets up his notary stamp. As an agreement, both parties would sign. As a Notary, Sheldon would know that he could not notarize his own signature.

The Big Bang Theory (2007)
The Nerdvana Annihilation - S1-E14
Character mistake: Being the first to play in the "time machine," Leonard says he will set the date for March 10, 1876. Howard says "Good choice. Alexander Graham Bell invents the telephone and calls out for Doctor Watson." Bell's assistant, Thomas A. Watson, was an experienced electrical designer and mechanic, but he did not hold an advanced degree. It is well documented that the first words transmitted over the telephone identified him as Mister Watson.

Continuity mistake: Tony is in the bedroom with Maya Hansen, Happy is seen closing the sliding door. With the door just inches from being fully closed, a quick cut to Tony and Maya kissing, then back to Happy, and the door is almost fully open, with Happy in the process of closing it again just as the plant explodes. Battleship (2012)
Question: In more than one scene, various officers are wearing some sort of necklace, apparently permissible additions to the uniform. They are of several different designs. What are they, and what do they represent?
Answer: They appear to be versions of a Hawaiian lei. During ceremonies and celebrations, it is permissible to wear pins, ribbons, and other items as a show of respect or support.

Chosen answer: It does. The variable cleanliness of the cab and the habit of taxi drivers to engage customers in small talk would be too much for Sheldon to handle, and not an option for him.
