Revealing mistake: When the boat sinks, the shark eats a boat and, seconds later, two men in the water. For both scenes, the same footage of the shark coming out of the water and moving its jaws is used.

Revealing mistake: The shark attacks the parasailing boat and makes the driver hit his head against a rail and fall unconscious. First of all, the bang of his head is not heard. Second, his hit and further fall are one of the worst stunts in movie history.

Nick bends down to pick up a prop located offscreen, to add up for realism, but the problem is that he bends down before the baby throws it, so the whole trick is revealed.
