The Haunting (1999)

Corrected entry: We see Mr Dudley take quite a while to take the chains out of the gate. Later Dr Marrow closes the gate after Mary and Todd leave and he locks the gate almost immediately. A few scenes later we see the chains totally wrapped around the gate, although he didn't have time for it.

Correction: People do tasks at different speeds. Mr. Dudley was talking to Nell and slowing pulling the chains out, yet Dr. Marrow was in a hurry to get them out to the hospital.

The Waterboy (1998)

Corrected entry: When Bobby, Vicky, and Mama are at the barbeque, Mama takes a drink of her juice or whatever it is. But when you see her put the drink back down on the table it is at the same level as it was, when she picked it up.

Correction: She only took one small sip, so nothing blatant is going to be visible in the level dropping.

The Haunting (1999)

Corrected entry: The Nursery Room has been closed for more than a century, but there is a fairly modern telephone on a table.

Correction: Nothing indicates that it has been shut for a long time, and the reason for this modern telephone to be in there, is because this room is a replica of Nell's room, and her room has this same phone in it. So Crane obviously made sure that everything was completely identical.

The Haunting (1999)

Corrected entry: Theo's piece of curly hair appears and disappears from her forehead in the first evening at Hill House.

Correction: This is too brief - be more specific to when and where this happens.

Now and Then (1995)

Corrected entry: At the baseball game, Roberta gets into a fight with the boy sitting on the fence. When Sam and Teeny pull her off him, there's a circle of kids formed around them, but after the guy insults Roberta's mom and Sam tackles him, there are suddenly no kids behind him.

Correction: There was plenty of time for those kids to move out of the way.

The Producers (1967)

Corrected entry: When Bialystock and Bloom are in the boat in the park, the boat has only one oar. Such a rowboat would only go in a circle.

Phoenix

Correction: Leo has his legs over the boat in this shot, dipped in the water. He could have easily removed the oar from the holder in order to dangle his feet over the edge of the boat.

Now and Then (1995)

Corrected entry: The older Roberta is asked to play basketball with the two kids, and you hear one of them say, "Bye Dr. Martin" although none of their mouths move.

Correction: Their faces are out of view when this is said, so it's impossible to tell if their mouths moved or not.

Now and Then (1995)

Corrected entry: During the trip to Greenfield they girls stop at a cafe, and Teeny shows them today's bra-fillers. You hear Sam say "They almost look real" but her mouth says something like "Wow."

Correction: Not true at all. Her mouth match the words "They almost look real" and it does not look as if she says "wow."

Now and Then (1995)

Corrected entry: The man in the tractor was putting in Dear Johnny's new headstone at the end. After the girls left and Samantha ran back in to say hi to Crazy Pete, Pete was at Dear Johnny's grave leaving flowers. But how could this be? If the man in the tractor was putting in a new headstone for Dear Johnny, how could he have another one at the other side of the cemetery?

Correction: In the time that Samantha had left the graveyard, then decided to go back, the tombstone would have been put in with plenty of time for Crazy Pete to go over to it.

Hamster

Corrected entry: Near the end, when the main characters are running away from the giant "klown", the male character stumbles over a lightning bolt on the floor and moves it.

Correction: This isn't a mistake.

Hamster

Corrected entry: Also, during the 4th of July festivities, multiple fisherman were mistaken for the killer. This was because they were wearing full raincoats and rain hats. The 4th of July in the Carolinas is too hot, (way too hot) to be wearing winter foul weather gear.

Correction: This is the people's own decision - if they want to wear this clothing, they can. Plus most of it is fishing / working clothing.

Hamster

Corrected entry: The girl is coming back from an entire year away at school and she has one small duffel bag full of stuff. Yeah right.

Correction: Character's decision - plus, she's only returning home for a while - and she probably has everything at home (clothes, for example), so she probably didn't need to bring much home with her.

Hamster

Corrected entry: Why was there an exact duplicate of Joanne lying on the table? According to "Mike," all that happened to the Stepford Wives were that little microchips were installed in their brains; there is nothing Body Snatchers-related going on.

redbaron2000

Correction: The women are robots. Their human brains are equipped with the Stepford microchips, then the brains are transplanted into a replica robot body. How else do you think the wives are immune to being burnt or can produce money from their mouth? "Mike" was obviously keeping the body-switching a secret.

Hamster

Corrected entry: In the triple decapitation, the cord that pulls the bodies back is visible.

Correction: There is no cord.

Hamster

Corrected entry: When Janet is in the tank with Rocky and the faces of the other characters appear above her singing the line 'creature of the night', Frank's mouth moves different from the words; his line is badly dubbed.

Correction: His mouth isn't out of sync.

Cujo (1983)

Corrected entry: When Cujo attacks a cop in the hallway of the house, you can see the dog's tail wagging madly. Actually, the tip of the tail, since the rest of the tail has so obviously been strapped to one of its legs.

Correction: Nothing indicates that it has been strapped down, and no strap can be seen holding it down. The dog just kept its tail down low.

Teen Wolf (1985)

Corrected entry: Isn't it rather strange that nobody outside the Howard family's small town expresses any interest in the confirmed discovery of a new human sub-species, the only one on the planet? Wouldn't it be more likely that their little backwater town would be inundated with every press and scientific organisation on earth, and that the Howard family would be the centre of the greatest publicity carnival of all time?

Correction: I don't see this as a plot hole but as the comedic core of the movie. I mean, one of the funniest bits in the film is when Mr. Howard rather nonchalantly "comes out" for a father-and-son chat about maturing as a werewolf. This is a gag throughout the film, with locals oddly accepting werewolves in the community. It's reminiscent of the surreal humor of "The Addams Family" and "The Munsters," in which actual monsters and ghoulish psychopaths somehow fit into society.

Charles Austin Miller

Correction: Probably not, because this same case is most likely to have happened to other people before - as seen in Teen Wolf Too, there are plenty of other 'werewolf' people. So it is most likely that a case like Scott's has been exposed and reported before in other locations. Also, such a small town would probably want to prevent such a thing from happening, and everyone seems a certain bit frightened of Scott as a werewolf.

Hamster

Scott doesn't even know that he is a werewolf until it "hits him in the face." It is a very closely guarded secret until Scott goes public. That would bring every biologist, anthropologist, zoologist - name the scientific discipline - running, as well as every reporter on the planet. The posting is absolutely correct.

I agree with the original posting. The entire town is shocked about Scott and certainly not familiar with other cases of werewolves.

The_Iceman

I'm going to agree. Not only is everybody surprised at the discovery that Scott is a werewolf but, the same thing happens in Teen Wolf Too. Todd believes he's just an ordinary guy until he turns into a werewolf while dancing which again, surprises everybody.

Beaches (1988)

Corrected entry: At the end of the movie, at Hillary Whitney's funeral, CC is standing near the casket and she slowly walks away. While she walks away she pulls up a cord with her foot.

Correction: This wire could be used for anything. It could easily be a wire for the microphone used for the funeral service, as there is a large marquee set up to the left.

Beaches (1988)

Corrected entry: When CC goes to John's house as a singing telegram, she enters the building with a basket in her hand. She puts it down outside the door, and doesn't pick it up again, even when she comes down the stairs with him. When she leaves the building, she has the basket again.

Correction: She could have left it by the door, went upstairs empty handed, and then picked it up again as she left.

Beaches (1988)

Corrected entry: When CC is watching Hillary and Victoria hug and then she walks down to sit with Hillary, if you look on the ground under the sand you can see wires all over the place.

Correction: There are no visible wires 'all over the place' in this scene.
