I only remember parts of this movie - what I remember is teens who broke down stumbled across a house in the middle of nowhere. The teens went inside the two storey house, one who was a African American boy sat down in something like a lounge chair, put on his earphones and went to sleep. Another teen went to the kitchen, and the other teen girl went upstairs to take a shower. When the killer arrived home out of the woods he killed them - he went upstairs, killed the girl in the shower, then I can remember the killer sitting on the side of the bed. He opened a drawer and pulled out a finger which still had a ring on it. I can remember one of the teens running outside and hiding under the house, a cop showed up and I think the killer killed him but the girl got away. There was also a bar scene dealing with the killer.

I'm looking for the name of a movie; two kids broke their mother's favorite statue given to her by a guru or wizard. Looking for the title of a book that contains a collection of short vampire stories. One story has a boy talking with another boy who claims to be a vampire and tells him the rules of vampirism. The boy says that he would like to be a vampire too but the end of the story has him changing his mind but the vampire claims that it's too late. Another story has a teenage boy waking up in a coffin and at first refusing to accept that he's dead. He eventually realizes that he's a vampire and after leaving the funeral home after attacking his uncle, he meets the girl who turned him into a vampire.

Answer: The book is titled, "Vampires."

Does anyone know the title of this movie? When I was a kid, I watched the movie and in one scene, a man said to the other man something like "Your second toe is longer than your first one. So, you must be an intelligent one." I can't give you more details because that's all I can remember.

monu

Chosen answer: "Shallow Hal" (2001) makes a reference to this condition (called 'Morton's Toe').

A man comes to a couple claiming to be their son. The "son" also tries seducing the mother, I think.

Answer: There are several movies with that plot, but the one that comes to mind is The Stranger Within. Kate Jackson plays a mother with a fiance, who is confronted by a young man, Rick Schroeder, who claims to be her long lost son.

Below is a brief description of a scene in an American action movie. Can someone please help out to figure the title of the movie. A guy approached a lady in a room sitting on a bed, she hits him in his testicles and beat him up. Another guy came and opened the door to the room - she shoots him in the head and the blood stained the door. After which soldiers came and surrounded the building.

Looking for the title and actors in a 50's something TV show / movie about a guy in advertising or marketing who had to deliver a marketing plan, but had nothing. A word in a newspaper caught his eye and he started building upon it, without any idea of what product he could market on that lead. The strict, blue-eyed, blond iceberg of a career woman who had to work with him, despised him because, knowing he was a big player, she guessed that he had nothing. In the end he worked towards a secretive product that he revealed to the company as sweets filled with liquor. After tasting too much, the woman ended up in his apartment, wearing only his light blue pajama jacket the next morning, furious with him. In the end he and a hastily commandeered preacher caught up with her while she was rushed towards a hospital labor room on a trolley; the preacher sputtered the holy matrimony questions and the woman, still furious, screamed a pain filled "Y-e- s!" before disappearing into the labor room with the doors closing behind the trolley and nurses and doctor. So funny! I need a good laugh so I need to lay my hands on this movie. Title please?

I saw the last part of a thriller / suspense TV show / movie while flipping channels on (South African) TV one night in the 1990's. The name was something like Chase! / Catch! / Chance! / Catch, based on a novel with perhaps that title. The plot was that a woman was kept in a room in a seaside mansion in a small town by her doctor-husband. He told all people that she was ill and that he was treating her; meanwhile she believed that he was making her ill and that she would be killed (as she believed and told a private detective) like his previous wife. Whenever she heard him walking on the steps she became agitated, or when she heard him playing the piano. (Not "Julia"). The film was set in I think the 80's. The doctor was always wearing impeccable dark suits, and was the classic "tall, dark, slim and handsome" guy. She was the classic "fair skinned, dark haired, slim, beautiful lady, wearing long flowing gowns. One night she escaped through the back door and in his chase after her, the doctor was killed. Cannot remember how, or any actor's name. However, when she in the end was driving on a desert-like road, totally relaxed, and stopped by a Mexican community to ask the road, a guy in white Mexican clothes approached her, and appeared as the smiling, captivating doctor-husband...! I need the title of the movie, the book, the author and actors' names, anything please.

Name of movie from the 1960s. Where wife tricks her husband into believing he sees his dead daughter.

I need help with the name of a movie I saw in the 80's, it might be older. It was about a group of people who were lost and ended up in a crazy family's house looking for help. The family was old and their kids were old also, but they still thought they were young, and the daughter had a doll in a bassinet that they believed was alive. The group of lost teenagers spent the night at their house and the family began to try and kill them.

Answer: "American Gothic" (1988) - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0094642/.

This is about a TV commercial and I can't figure out who the actor is. I feel like he's a comedian I've seen before, so he may not be in any films. It's a Brookside chocolates commercial. He's by a field, dressed in a blue shirt, next to a table with the chocolates. He's holding a phone reading online comments. Then someone brings a 100-pound bag and breaks the table.

Searching name for a movie for a VERY long time. In 80s/90s time frame I think. This I remember: the boy hits/shoots his girlfriend's dad (doesn't die I think, I think dad abuses her). The boy and girlfriend are on the run on the roads, very mushy sand, have sex in a car, police are after them (i think her father reported them). The police chase them, they hide in a bank/store/cafe, the boy tells his pregnant girlfriend to stay when he decides to go out and meet them, he is circled by cops and gets shot to death when he takes out a gun. The girlfriend cries when she sees it through the window. I would be forever grateful for the help to find this movie. Thanks.

Chosen answer: This sounds like the movie "Wisdom" from 1986, starring Emilio Estevez and Demi Moore.

Does anybody know the title of this movie? If I am not mistaken, made in the 90's, the plot takes place in the 19 or early 20 century in London (possibly Paris). A country boy goes to the big city (for a sport competition?). A fellow takes him to a club, he meets then sleeps with a girl. While she thinks he is asleep, steals his money, hides it in a pot under a flower. He notices, and when she is asleep he takes all money from there, much more than was his. I think this is an adaptation from a famous writer's novel or short story.

Trying to recall a movie. Scene is a guy who gets virtually covered by waxed off hair - he's maybe dumpster diving behind a salon?

I remember playing a PC game in the early 90s - 2D cartoony thing with a detective character who wore a top hat with spindly legs and floppy yellow hair, photographing things in a school. Can't remember the name - ring a bell for anyone?

There was a movie that had Stephen Baldwin in it. In the movie, Stephen has a job as an actor who helps recreate crime scenes for a television show to help catch criminals. Eventually, Stephen himself kills a woman and while reenacting the crime for the show, he starts walking up some stairs. He then turns to the director and says that he can't go upstairs. When the director asks why, Stephen responds, "Because that's not how I killed her."

Answer: There is a British film starring Stephen Baldwin called "Crimetime" in which he plays an actor hired to reenact crimes of a serial killer. To prepare for the role, Baldwin gets all the grisly details from the cops, etc. However, due to the popularity of the show, it's the real life serial killer that begins killing again, to gain headline news, and so that the reenactment show can continue showing his crimes.

Bishop73

Does anyone know an animated cartoon movie of a boy or man who built a time traveling machine and travels through time, I can't recall the first place he visits to but from what I remember is that he travels way to the future and finds himself underground beneath a desert. I think there were aliens living there. He tries to escape from them and goes a little back in time to look for his future self, finally succeeding, then he goes back to his time. I think the first time I saw it was in 2004 or 2005.

Answer: This is most likely the movie "Time Kid". Tom Spender is a kid who discovers that his dad built a time machine and traveled into the future. Tom uses the time machine to go into the future and rescue his dad.

I've heard and I'm sure I've read about a movie franchise where every movie was a remake of the first movie. Does anyone know of a franchise like this?

Answer: This sounds like it might be Trent Harris' "The Beaver Trilogy" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Beaver_Trilogy.
