17 Again

Audio problem: When Scarlet hugs Alex for making the team and tells "Mark" that his hug is super inappropriate, when she says, "Good job!..." her mouth is not in sync with the words. It looks as if she actually said, "That's great!" (00:53:25)

Continuity mistake: In the shot just after "Mark" tells Scarlet about Alex and the new girlfriend, Nicole (at the victory party), we see Jane's car driving down the block (towards the camera) headed to Ned's home and there are multiple black tire tracks (burned rubber) on the road at the intersection. After a close-up of Jane and Ned in the car discussing 'Halo', it cuts back to the intersection as the teenagers cut them off, and the tire tracks are gone. (01:16:50)

Mike O' Donnell: When you're young everything feels like the end of the world. But it's not; it's just the beginning. You might have to meet a few more jerks, but one day you're gonna meet a boy who treats you the way you deserve to be treated. Like the sun rises and sets with you.

Trivia: The codename for this film when shipped to theatres was "Rewind." Kinda fitting if you ask me.

Question: If Mike's ex-wife (Scarlet) recognizes him from when they were teenagers, wouldn't the coach remember him too? He was the star player.

Answer: I've not seen the movie, but an ex-wife would be closer to her ex-husband than a coach to his old student, no matter how good.

Answer: It's also possible that the coach might have noticed a resemblance, but he would have simply written it off as an odd coincidence, much like Scarlet did earlier in the film.
