A young thief, Aladdin, is asked by the sultan's evil advisor, Jafar, to steal a lamp. He does so, but his pet monkey Abu steals the lamp back. Aladdin discovers that the lamp contains a genie that can grant him three wishes. With the help of the genie, he must propose to Princess Jasmine, defeat Jafaar, and save the kingdom.
Continuity mistake: When Jafar is holding the Sultan and Jasmine captive, Jasmine is wearing a gold band round one arm. As Jafar pushes her to the floor, it has switched to the other.
Genie: But oh, to be free. Not to have to go "Poof! What do you need, "Poof! What do you need, Poof! What do you need?" To be my own master. Such a thing would be greater than all the magic and all the treasures in all the world. But what am I talking about? Let's get real here, that's never gonna happen. Trivia: When the Sultan is idly building a tower of miniature animal figures, one of the figures is the Beast from Beauty and the Beast. Also, the king crab the genie pulls out of his cookbook is Sebastian from The Little Mermaid.
Question: When Jasmine works out that Prince Ali is Aladdin (the boy from the market), why does she get angry at him? Shouldn't she be happy that he's actually alive, considering Jafar told her earlier on that Aladdin had been sentenced to death and killed?
