Deliberate mistake: Vega's claw never actually hits any of the furnace buttons, but it opens up anyway.
Suggested correction: The claw penetrates the panel cover and most likely shorted the wires inside. You don't have to actually press any buttons to activate it if you short the wires.
Continuity mistake: When Vega ambushes Ryu in the locker rooms, he just puts his mask in front of his face. Ryu kicks him right afterwards, and the mask rests solidly on Vega's head.
Trivia: Here's a brief list of the moves from the game that made it into the film: Ryu threw a fireball at Vega. Ryu does a hurricane kick against Vega. Vega did his rolling attack against Ryu. Ken does the standing uppercut against Sagat. E. Honda does the hand slaps against Zangief. Balrog does the wind-up punch against a Bison Trooper. Guile did two Flash Kicks against Bison. Cammy did a thrust kick against a Bison Trooper. Chun Li does the spinning bird kick against Bison.
Question: How come Doctor Dhalism turns bald at the end?
Answer: In his fight with the guard, Dhalsim gets knocked into some chemicals. This presumably changed him. This is also likely the explanation if he had to do any signature moves from the games, which thankfully, he doesn't.
