Buffy The Vampire Slayer

Get It Done - S7-E15

Plot hole: When Dawn and Buffy discover Chloe hanging in the bathroom, Dawn gives a little gasp but nothing more. But, seconds later, some Potentials run from across the hall saying "What is it? We heard -" before they see Chloe. While it suits the next scene to have them there, there wouldn't have been any sounds loud enough for them to have heard from across the hall through a closed door.

Shay

Selfless - S7-E5

Revealing mistake: When Anya sings her song about how she will become Mrs. Harris, she spins Xander's chair around after putting a blanket on him. When she is also sitting on the chair, and you see an overhead shot of them both, you can see a section of the stage floor rotating beneath them keeping the chair spinning.

Beneath You - S7-E2

Continuity mistake: Shortly after the opening credits we see Buffy, Dawn and Xander driving to the new high school. As they're talking, the rest of the credits roll by onscreen. Just after "Producer: Marc David Alpert" is shown, there is a side-angle shot of the car and you can see Xander's left arm resting outside on the open door window. But in the following shot he has both his hands on the steering wheel.

Sleeper - S7-E8

Continuity mistake: When Anya is sneaking into Spikes room after she closes the door the shot goes to spike and the sheet is lying square across his stomach and the camera goes back to Anya she then walks over to the chest of drawers and we see spike in the shot and the sheet is now lying at an angle so we can see his hip.

First Date - S7-E14

Audio problem: In the graveyard scene when Cho-Anne says the Cantonese translation of 'I don't understand what any of you are saying', watch her closely in the shot just before it. She starts to mouth part of the line early, but we don't hear it.

Help - S7-E4

Continuity mistake: When Cassie and Dawn were talking, just before Cassie got kidnapped, Cassie put her hand on Dawn's shoulder, but in the next shot, her hands were by her side.

End Of Days - S7-E21

Revealing mistake: When Buffy finds Faith and the Potentials in the sewers she throws an Ubervamp across the room. When we see the Ubervamp from behind you can also see the actor's blue boxer shorts sticking out of the Ubervamp costume.

Chosen - S7-E22

Continuity mistake: When Anya leads Andrew away to their station in the school, she goes from having her right arm over his shoulders to having her left arm over her shoulders between shots. She is off camera for a second, but not long enough to move to the opposite side of him and change hands.

Shay

Sleeper - S7-E8

Continuity mistake: Willow tells Buffy that the Big Bad's lies were very convincing, she then debates whether it was trying to confuse them, mess them up or just trying to be cruel. As she says this, Buffy's fringe changes position between shots.

Help - S7-E4

Continuity mistake: Towards the end, when Buffy stops the arrow, when she first grabs it her hand drops down to Cassie's mouth level, and her arm's bent at the elbow. When we cut to another angle it's now held at arm's length and at about eye level.

Jon Sandys

The Killer In Me - S7-E13

Audio problem: When Anya comes in from helping the potentials get in the car, she says that Molly is in the trunk. She then says something along the lines of "I'm surprised at how compact Molly is," as she walks away with Willow, but her mouth doesn't move.

Chosen - S7-E22

Revealing mistake: In the last episode, 'Chosen', Anya beheads two Ubervamps. The second time she swings the sword it very noticably doesn't go anywhere near the Ubervamp's neck, closer to its stomach.

Shay

End Of Days - S7-E21

Continuity mistake: At the beginning of the episode when the Potentials are fighting the ubervamps, when they see the second one they move away from it. You can see in the bottom right hand corner of the screen that the ubervamp already has a Potential. In the next shot you see it jump down and grab a Potential.

Storyteller - S7-E16

Continuity mistake: In the scene where Xander and Anya have had their "one more time" and are lying in the cellar bed talking, the shot is on Xander and he is speaking. When he finishes speaking Anya starts, but the camera stays focussed on him, however, you can see part of Anya's face in the shot and her mouth is not moving despite the fact she is talking.

Chosen - S7-E22

Revealing mistake: Early in the final fight, Vi makes a flying kick to knock an Ubervamp off the cliff. As she lands, she swings back and twists slightly, suspiciously like one would do if suspended on a wire. There is no way she could gain this motion by kicking straight off the vamp as shown. Bargaining (1) - S6-E1

[After saving Giles from a vampire.]
Spike: Awww, poor Watcher. Did your life flash before your eyes? Cup of tea, cup of tea, almost-got-shagged, cup of tea?

Chosen answer: "So goes the nation" seems to have been used on many occasions, with various different US states in the "As .... goes" section. Most commonly it seems to be California that's considered to lead the way, but probably most other states have appeared in the lead role at some point or another. Other things have also been used - no less a person that Pope John Paul II said "As the family goes, so goes the nation...". The origin of the quote format is unclear - in US politics it goes back into the 19th century, when it was Maine that held the title spot, but, while no definitive origin is known, it seems highly likely that it goes back considerably further than that.
