Continuity mistake: During the cafeteria scene, Carl initially has his left arm behind Fern's, resting on the top of her chair. When there's a quick shift to a wide view of the cafeteria, Carl is now holding a bag of potato chips in his left hand, which is over the table (not resting on the back of Fern's chair). The wide camera view MIGHT be trying to show that time has passed and lunch is almost over. However, Angela is still talking about her tattoo, indicating that there has not been a gap in time.
